Skippy's Tails

One day Skippy woke up to her mom calling her down for breakfast, Skippy didn’t think much of it because that’s what happens every morning so she got up ,brushed her teeth and picked out a outfit for school, she ran downstairs to see her siblings Cottontail and Snowball running down to the smell of freshly  made pancakes. She sat herself down and poured maple syrup onto her pancakes, as the syrup slowly dripped onto her pancake she imagined a pancake world where the trees were maple syrup and everything smelled of fresh maple, Skippy could daydream for hours and hours, *honk* “Skippy are you coming?” Skippy’s mom said “Oh um coming!!!” Skippy said, Skippy had a frown on her face “ I didn’t even get to take a bite of my pancakes” she told herself , Skippy got into the car with her stomach gurgling. When she arrived at school she starting unpacking her stuff .

Chapter One “ The Enchanted Forest” 

“Welcome class” said professor Brochsa, “we are going to start your day with reading!”Skippy loved reading a lot, so she got out her favourite book, it was called Tails of the Unfortunate, Skippy loved that book because of how magical it was, she got out her book and flipped through the pages, as she was reading it she imagined  what it would be like to go into a enchanted forest and what it would be like to have magic fins and cool abilities, she daydreamed more than reading the book. a quiet whisper said “hello? Skippy can you hear me???” Said professor Brochsa “oh i'm sorry Mrs” said skippy, Professor Brochsa complained to Skippy's mom saying that she’s always daydreaming and never paying attention to class. When Skippy got home she went outside to enjoy nature, a small spark led her to a tree. The tree was very odd looking. As skippy put her hands against the soft bark and-Stared at the light pastel leaves, the tree was glowing and looked odd? Then a magical key appeared underneath the tree “wow a key!” Skippy said as she saw her reflection in the beautiful crystal gems, “but where would it lead to?”she said, but then the same spark appeared on the tree and all of a sudden there was a key lock “HUH'' skippy said in a confused  voice, it reminded Skippy of her favourite book “ Tails of the Unfortunate” curiously Skippy went inside of the door, she was seeing a black abyss with slight pops of colour and weird patterns as she teleported inside of the tree, all of a sudden she woke up inside of a glowing forest? “Huh?” Skippy said in a quiet curious voice “where am I she said “ then she got up and realized she couldn’t breathe. She got scared and ran, then she saw her reflection in the water “AHHH” Skippy said “I HAVE FINS?!” She fell straight into the water

"I can breathe in water!” She said happily, she swam for hours until she remembered she had to explore and see what else she is capable of doing. As she walked through the tall turquoise grass it really reminded her of her favourite book but she knew she couldn’t day dream at this moment, then she heard claws and hisses “oh no…” Skippy said, the hisses came closer and Skippy started to back away from the noises “ok Skippy stay calm” she told herself but it was hard to stay calm when all she could imagine was a giant cat attacking her!!!, then finally the scary cat walked towards her hissing crazy “oh no AHHH'' Skippy said, then all of a sudden Skippy was running super fast well the cat was chasing her then… the cat got her *HISS* Skippy closed her eyes in a fright, then the cat realized what she was doing and got off of Skippy. When Skippy opened her eyes she wondered-How she wasn’t dead then the cat said “I'm sorry…” “what?!” Skippy said in a scared confused voice the cat replied with “my family is huge. They all hunt after small animals and I tried to take after them but I just can’t hunt down animals. It makes me feel guilty like I can’t do it!” The bobcat said “oh…” Skippy said in a confused voice than the cat introduced herself “well my name is Jade I am a bobcat who loves hunting not animals but gems!” Jade said “oh well my name is Skippy, I love to read and I kinda came from another dimension” *laughing* Jade couldn’t hold her laugh in “you *laugh* came from- wait hold on hold on another dimension  *laugh* you are too funny” Jade said “no I really did come from another dimension, listen I came home from school and went outside then there was this magic door I went inside and I kinda just need up here I guess”

Chapter Two “Jade and Skippy”

“Wait so let me get this straight…so you came from another dimension  and randomly teleported here? Wow, that's cool! And I really love your ears and fins by the way!” Jade said “Fins… EARS?! WHATTTT” Skippy said in a scared surprised voice “yeah? You're an animal like me?” Jade said “OMGGG this is just like the book I was reading it where a bunny had fin-“ Skippy got cut off by Jade, Skippy totally forgot that she had fins but Skippy couldn’t believe she was a character in a book but she was also worried if she was never going back home to see her mom and family and friends, until jade showed her that she also goes to school and has a family!

Jade showed Skippy around her house and came across an old cat with matted grey fur and yellow eyes “oh and this is my grandpa” Jade said “wow cool!” Skippy said “oh and I can enrol you into my school too! We can be best friends an-'' Skippy cut Jade off tears fell from Skippy eyes “will I ever be able to go home…with my family and friends…” Skippy said in a sad voice “oh…um well I can’t be 100% sure that you will go back home…but we can work it out I mean maybe if you see a magic tree you can go home…right!” Jade said trying to cheer Skippy up, but nothing could cheer Skippy up at this point, she was the saddest she had ever been, Skippy missed her family and friends from the moon and back! But Jade had an idea on how to cheer Skippy up “come over here!” Jade said in an excited voice! Skippy was confused but decided to give it a try, then Jade got into her “Go cart” but really it was made out of oak wood that still had moss on it, leaves, vines and old tires. Skippy was surprised that Jade could build this well! They both got into the go cart, and were racing to- “vines?” Skippy said in a confused voice “yeah vines!!!!” Jade said in a happy but confused voice “VINES?! Why are we in a jungle with vines?!” Skippy said “Ohhhh I forgot your new here well basically vines is are way of playing like here hold onto the vines and- swing~“ Jade said as her voice faded away, Skippy decided to give it a try so she started to held onto the vines and pushed herself, “ok Skippy you got this! Just hold on and swing~'' Skippy said to herself as her voice faded just like Jades “Weeeeee” Skippy and Jade both said as they were going 70 miles per hour than….”AHHHHHH” Skippy said in a scared voice… “I fell into the water oh no oh no I can’t swim-“ then Jade cut her off reminding her that she can swim and literally has fins “oh yeah” then Jade was about to jump into the water but then she remembered that she can’t swim “I can teach you!” Jade was scared and didn’t know if she could do it because she was a bobcat but then she thought of a idea to build a raft for her and Skippy so Jade dipped her paws in the crystal clear water to get some wet dirt then she got some wood and leaves, and she couldn’t forgot her favourite the vines! She worked hard putting everything in place then using the wet dirt as glue to make everything stick together! Then she remembered she needed a paddle so she took some extra wood, then carved it with her sharp fangs then it was ready to go! Jade carefully stepped onto the raft, Skippy following her steps, Jade grabbed her hand to prevent her stumbling, Jade started to row the boat across the river an then tree fell into the river making a big wave and- *BOOM* *SPLASH* “AHHHH'' Jade said terrified Skippy started to panic seeing Jade sink to the river ground Skippy tried to save Jade but there was a barrier and then the yellow stripes on Jade's back matched up with the sun glaring on the water, all of a sudden the whole river changed and it looked like it had just came out of a mermaid movie! The sand was purple and blue, there were shiny pearls and golden chests! The water even got deeper. Skippy didn’t even know if this was real life, then all of a sudden she saw the old tree that had fallen in the water,” a lock?” She was confused but then she remembered she needed a lock to get in this dimension, so she started digging everywhere in the sand for a key and then she found one she was about to put it in but then she remembered about Jade, Skippy needed to find her before she went into another dimension so she searched and searched for her until she looked in the key, the gems are Jades…? Just like Jade… Skippy’s heart sank she didn’t know what to do but she was desperate, but  she couldn’t go in the tree without Jade, she needed to say goodbye first but she spent hours looking, with no luck, Jade was nowhere to be seen… so she inserted the key and fell into the same portal that she fell into at the start, then “AHHH'' Skippy fell onto the grass, she had grass stains on her shirt and dirt all over her knees, Skippy looked at her hands…”I'm human…I'm HUMAN!!!” Skippy was about to cry with happy tears “I'm back!!!” But then she remembered about Jade…she’s gone…

“Skippy~ time for school!” Skippy mom said “COMING!” Skippy said in a hurry, Skippy hopped into the car, then later arrived at school, Skippy walked into school seeing her bffs Spring and Violet hugging her! “Hey guys!!!” Skippy said with the weight lifting off of her shoulders knowing that she finally got to see her best friends, they both walked into class together “ok today we have new students" said professor Brocsha “oh um hey guys…my name is Jade! And when I grow up I want to become an engineer! Because I love to build!!!” Jade said with a worried smile on her face, Skippy’s heart started to pound “JADE!?” Skippy said in her mind, Jade sat herself down on the chair next to Skippy and Skippy couldn’t help but notice the necklace she was wearing, it was a key and there were jade gems all over it! “thats- that’s the one I had when I saw the magic tree…OMG! This has to be her!” Skippy said in her mind Then recess time came and Skippy “introduced” herself to Jade “hi I'm Skippy!” She said “Skip- Skippy!? I know this might sound weird but I was a bobcat in another world and there was this bunny named” ski-skippy '' Jade said “JADE?! THE BOBCAT I KNOW YOU!!!!” They were both jumping of excitement knowing they met each other “you helped me get here! Because your strips matched up with the sun and then a lock appeared on the tree! Thank you so much!!!” Skippy said “you’re welcome “ Jade said with a warm smile on her face! Years later they worked together on building a new enchanted magic school! (Enchanted High coming soon)

 Moral of the story: you can’t do everything on your own, because teamwork makes dream work and friendship is worth everything!!!:
