Once Upon A Time…
There were two angels who watched over earth in God’s name. One angel had silver eyes while the other had golden ones. They were tasked with guiding humanity and ensuring peace among them. The silver-eyed angel represented wisdom and purity. While the golden-eyed angel represented strength and courage.
Together, they carried out their heavenly duties endlessly amongst the humans as pose to keep the world from falling into chaos. And while together, they fell in love along the way.
And so when settled into their home together on earth God gave his blessing for them to be together, as long as they don’t forget their duties to the earth.
However, one night while settling into their new home, a demon, disguised as a human attacked the angels! The demon was mighty. His attacks were fierce. The angels, caught off guard, quickly realized the severity of the situation and ask the lord for help. God answered their prayers and sent his heavenly blessing upon the angels.
What came with God's blessing was a golden staff representing the sun for the golden-eyed angel. For the silver-eyed angel was a silver sword representing the moon. And with these weapons, they destroy the demon. But not before the demon casted his curse among them.
He declared that in the lifetimes to come, all three of them would battle repeatedly, but the angels would never be together again after his defeat. The angels were devatated. They asked the god if there was a way to break the demon's ungodly curse. The god replied, "To break the curse, you must find the sacred relic hidden deep within the forbidden realm. Only by uniting its power with unwavering faith can you hope to restore balance and free yourselves from this eternal struggle."
As the angels died that fateful night, they were reincarnated several times in different families as time passed. Now in the age of heroes, they've reincarnated yet again.

"Elena, wake up. Your father is returning today."
My maid Mary turned the cover off my body and I began to shiver. "Get up my darling." She said softly. I stretched out and yarned. "He had to pick today of all days," I muttered sleepily. "Of course dear. Your ceremony is tonight." She said.
My name is Princess Elena of Westwood. I'm the third daughter of King Arnold and Queen Merida. And today is my engagement party. Royals like to do certain things to sustain their power. And to continue the bloodline. My two older sisters dodged a bullet when they met their spouses on their voyages to other lands. Me, however, was dead set against marrying.
My grandfather gave me a week to find someone suitable for myself or he would choose someone for me. I couldn't because I was too busy protecting our land from demons. Lately, more and more demons have moved toward the castle like moths to a flame. The only reason I can think of is that the demon king just wants to take over more territory. Or perhaps he's after something else.
There are endless possibilities. And right now I can't even think about them. This stupid ceremony is a real pain in the ass. And I wish it was someone else instead of me.
"Darling, I laid out your dress and shoes for the day," Mary said. "Thank you. But you know you don't have to do that. "I can easily do that myself." I told her for the millionth time. Mary giggles and drags me out of bed. "I know that dear. But as your maid, it is my job to help you."
"But as a princess with two legs and two hands, I can do it myself."
Mary rolls her eyes and ignores me. Taking off my night gown, she sets my morning clothes on the bed. "Look, you can be a strong independent woman once you step out of this room," Mary says. "However, when you're in this room, you are my shining crystal light." "I know, I know," I grumble, slipping into the dress. "But it still feels weird having someone else do everything for me." Mary smiles warmly, adjusting my collar. "It's not about need, dear. It's about care. Now, let's get you ready for the day."
Looking in the mirror, I see a young woman staring back at me, her reflection framed by the intricate details of the dress. Despite my reluctance, I can’t deny that Mary’s care and attention make everything feel a little less daunting. Maybe, just maybe, this isn’t so bad after all.
However, now isn't the time to think about such things. It's time to get down to business. Plus, we'll have a special guest from Crestwood. Never had a visitor from the east come to Mystica. Then again, there's always someone who wants to see the silver-eyed princess.
