The isolation here is daunting. I'm surrounded by people, but do any of them talk to me? No! I shout and scream! I've even tried simple conversation. Nothing, not even a head nod of acknowledgment.
My forceful measures don't work either. I drop plates, spill drinks, and rip down blinds. It's all useless. That damn cat takes all the blame.
I'm stuck here watching lame ghost-hunting t.v shows. Every day at least once I hear,
“We should be ghost hunters.”
They're Idiots!
One day they'll learn, just like the last people. A ghost always finds a way to get revenge.

Ella had been flying for minutes, hours, she didn't know, but it seemed like days. She was tired of the air. All she wanted to do was land. Her father, Bert, and mother, Ava, did all they could to keep Ella calm, but both were panicked. It wasn't unusual for them to take flight. They did it daily, but today was different. Danger followed them. It chased after Ella, Bert, and Ava like a wolf pursuing its prey.

I met Jason when I was five years old. I could say that I loved him from the moment I saw him. He was so handsome to me and I felt in awe by his presence. When they introduced him as the new kid in school, I wanted to be his friend right away. I remember it like it was yesterday. I remember his smile and how he didn't seem shy. He appeared confident and ready to learn. I waved at him and said "hello," before anyone else could even say a word. He sat next to me, and I asked him if he wanted to be friends. He looked so happy as he said, "Yes!"
