Do your eyes believe what your brain see's?

"Unsinkable" is the statement said just 4 days before the titanic went down!

This day was like any other over the years before, except for the feeling of discontent. Molly wanted to go to the new world. She wanted to snatch up all it had to offer and more. They called her "New Money". She never liked that term. The term that told a story of her past, the one that meant so much to her before her mother had sold her to the man, she now calls her husband. Not that he was a bad man.... she just didn't love him. She longed for the country again, the feeling of the cold ground beneath her feet. The grass between her toes and the hair from the willow tree falling lightly in front of her face as she walked underneath it. That was the feeling of home. Her hope was that by traveling like so many others to this new world, she might find that feeling again. Lost in the memory of what was she didn't hear her husband call her name, "Molly, molly sweetheart come along! We are going to miss our ride.", James called from the carriage. Molly turned her head to face this monster of a ship. She was ready for a change, but she felt apprehensive at the same time. Everything in her body was screaming at her not to board the ship. She did not understand. She wanted this, so why was every fiber of her being telling her not to? They called the ship "unsinkable" that had to stand for something. Right? So, Molly sluffed off the feeling and headed with James by her side to the boarding dock. Once on-board Molly and James were directed to their room, and promptly introduced to the crew, walking around on a tour of the behemoth of a ship they now stood on. The ship that would leave a scar in our history, never to be erased. Molly walked around taking in the biggest ship known to the world. The Titanic. The ship that was called "unsinkable" just 4 days before tragedy. These days were spent in peace and happiness, with dreams of the future. Elegant dinners and high society. Beautiful surroundings and fake people. Molly didn't care though; she was just as content not speaking to them. She only did it for James. Who she believed really did love her and in time she could learn to love him too. When Molly and James went to bed that night they never could have imagined what lay ahead. Molly didn't understand why but for some reason that feeling came back to her, the fear and anxiety of the ship itself. Why? She followed her normal nightly routine of getting ready by brushing her hair and getting her nightgown. She lay down next to James and he put his arm around her in a spoon. She felt his warmth and let it comfort her. Sinking into him. She closed her eyes and let go of the day that had played out in front of her. As she drifted off to visit the sandman, she thought she heard screams? Was that correct...."No she must be hearing things." she thought. At that she was gone, lost in the world of dreams. Then violent vibrating, frantic knocking at the door, she was hearing screaming now. Fear....just fear. There was something in the corner of her room. She stared. Trying so hard to focus on what it was that she was seeing. It looked like a human but not. Black in color, taller than any man she had ever seen before but a man shape none the less. It almost seemed to stare back at her. She took a step closer, never removing her eyes from this figure. (She had seen them before. They usually hid around a corner peeking at her from the shadows. She chose to ignore them and continue her day. James never knew.) It stood firm. "What do you want?", She thought loudly at this thing. Words filled her brain; she had an answer. "It must be done." Molly blinked. She thought again, "What must be done?" Nothing....no answer Again, "What must be done? Answer me! She demanded in thought, "What is happening?" Molly was not sure how to take this answer. She had never "spoken" to them before, if that's what you wanted to call it. Another violent shake and she was being told to go upstairs. She couldn't do it though, nobody else saw this thing but her. How could that be? As Molly turned, she could see her James lying in bed as if nothing had happened. As if there had been no violent shaking in her room, no screaming from nearby and no pounding on the door. Then it went quiet, time seemed to slow, and she could hear nothing as she moved her eyesight back to the figure from her husband's still form. She heard that same voice in her head as before, " I do not control what happens Molly. I cannot create nor prevent this event from unfolding, fate is what is at work here and in this you shall be remembered, you will never die. We are all here Molly." But Molly had not considered being a legend, in fact she didn't want that. She just wanted to make it to the new world. She wanted to fulfill her heart's desire. Home. Before she even understood what was happening, she was standing on the main deck. Everyone was scrambling to get to a lifeboat, to get off the ship. As Molly looked around, she could see so many of these dark shadow people. Most of them standing by a single person. They did not move from the person they had choose. Staying close by with a hand on a shoulder or around a waist. Molly did not understand, she was so confused about all this. Molly felt hands on her back pushing her towards one of the lifeboats, to join the other women and children onboard. She continued to look around as she walked with one of the crew members to the safety of the lifeboat. She had never seen so many of these beings before. She could not even count them. Molly tried to stop but the hand on her back would not allow her to do so. She approached the edge of the vessel and was told to step up into her salvation. She would not die tonight. As she sat down tears filled her eyes, where was James? She had not thought about him since she had appeared on deck. Thats when she realized how much she really did love her husband. He had become her best friend. Despite all the chaos, her world went quiet again and she felt heavy drops exit her eyes and run down her cheeks, flowing freely down her face as she remembered the feelings 4 days before. Molly could not breathe; her chest was tight, and she could not relax enough to think straight. So, she closed her eyes to center herself and that's when she swore, she could her James. Her husband's amazing voice talking to her. She felt a hand on her face and lightly she heard her name again in Jamese's voice. Molly opened her eyes and was face to face with her husband. There was no lifeboat. She no longer sat in the middle of the ocean. Molly now found herself in the carriage next to James. He looked so different to her now. Now that she knew her life would be forever changed. Molly leaned into her husband and kissed him softly. Stepping out of the carriage, she faced her fate. Even though she knew it would end in tragedy Molly was prepared. She took a deep breath and proceeded on with James by her side. Olivia lifted her head and took a breath. She knew reading Candice's diary was wrong, but she had to know what was bothering her daughter so much. Now that she knew the truth of what Candice had been going though, she had to help her baby. Candice, her beloved daughter was once the "unsinkable" Molly brown. Olivia knew this in her heart. Both of their lives would change, but first acceptance.
