William’s POV
Mae told her everything, every single last detail that I have told Mae as she grew. I let out a sigh as I typed on my computer, searing for any details that could help me in this case. Three cases, I found three cases that were like ours, I pulled my phone out and dialed my father's number, “hello.” He answered. “I found three cases that are linked to ours, it seems two of them had passed but there is one that lives in California, it doesn’t exactly say where. I’m trying to get a name and number.” I Heard my father shuffling something, probably papers. “Do you think you can get that information to me by tomorrow?” He asked. I thought for a moment as I did more searches “I can attempt, though I am sure I can get a name, I don’t think I will be able to get much else they seem to have stayed hidden throughout the years.” I waited while my father paused again. “See to it that you get the information,” Father stated then I heard him hang up.
Rachel’s POV
It's been two days since William had proposed to me, I walked around the Inn with my head held high. I know my father has been wondering what has made me so happy these past few days that has not made me happy before. Liam was away on a business trip with his father, and I have not seen William since that two nights ago. I have been busy planning for the wedding to Liam, William and I had agreed to get married since then I had my dress fitted and practiced my vows. I could not bear to tell my father of the promise that I had made toward William, I knew I wanted to but he would only ensure the wedding to Liam would happen faster. I don't understand why I could not find my own husband, it may have taken time. Well Since I had found my true love he would not have been waiting for very much longer. I move over to the window and sit down in the chair, looking out of the window I watch as men and women walk by. Men carry canes, and women carry their parcels.
That night I snuck out once again and made my way to the clearing, this time hoping beyond hope that this will be the start of my new future. I lay in the grass and moved my hands around feeling the cool soft grass between my fingers. After what felt like forever I finally heard the sound of footsteps, Smiling I sit up and lean on my elbows. "my love." I called out softly, William stared at me his gaze unwavering before drawing a huge smile across his mouth, he rushed over to me and helped me to my feet. "My darling." He said softly, his accent was deep tonight and I felt that wherever he was it was near where his accent came from.
"We leave tonight, I have a carriage waiting," William said as he took my hand and started walking in the direction that he came from. I drew in a deep breath and followed him, "Where will we be going? my father...He will notice I'm gone, it will only be time before somebody comes looking for me." I said, trying not to sound too excited as I followed closely behind him.
William's POV
I walked into the office at 9:00 am, my usual time of clocking in and making my way to my office. I had been called to come in early though, I decided that I did not wish to accompany my father this morning as I am sure the news he would like to give me would only 4end with me being angered. I walked into my office and sat my briefcase down on the desk, I let out a soft sigh and sat down. Opening up the computer screen I start searching for the names that I will need for what my father is looking for, I was so into what I was searching for that I didn't notice My father walking in with Mina, they both sat down across from me. After a few minutes, my father cleared his throat motioning to get my attention off of my work and onto him. I looked over and stared at them for a moment then closed what I was searching. "What is it this time?" I asked, leaning back in the chair. "We need to talk." My father stated as he leaned forward and grinned.
