Princess Lili

Chef, Healer, Warrior

By Lisa StalveyPublished 4 years ago Updated 4 years ago 7 min read

Princess Lili lived in Tibet in a golden castle, at the base of the expansive cascading Himalayan mountains adorned with snow. Lili was born into enormous wealth and privilege handed down from generation to generation, but this was of no concern to her. Lili’s parents were unusually down to Earth within this kind of opulence. They were unassuming in their fortune and encouraged Lili to practice the things in life she was passionate about, enjoyed and embraced which were her gardening and cooking. It’s hard to say which she enjoyed more, but they are so closely related to each other, it didn’t matter. These sacred places- the kitchen and garden- kept Lili grounded, humble and normal, and her parents 'Yin' and 'Yang' encouraged it. Lili also understood that most people liked to collect many material things when fortune was of this magnitude, but her parents didn't. They lived with minimal possessions. She knew that loving what we do, having trustworthy friends, a strong family unit and God, was where the real money was. Lili was only ten years old, but had the wisdom and maturity of a fifty year old. She also had a very vivid imagination. She had shimmering blue eyes and glossy, long wavy black hair and possessed the confidence of an army. She knew that money couldn’t buy those things.

Chrysanthemums surrounded the castle in beautiful colors such as yellow, pale green, white, lavender and pink, her favorite. These resilient flowers were placed in her bathroom every day in a special crystal vase given to her by her grandmother. Lili's play space, which was outside in her greenhouse, a glass dome, were more Chrysanthemums for her daily tea. The iron that held the dome together was painted with 24 carat gold paint, inset with chips of uncut natural rubies and diamonds so her garden would sparkle from the outside. She loved watching the snow gently fall evenly outside her greenhouse, creating tiny, little snowflakes that stuck to the glass. She spent hours counting these little gems of nature. But the best part of her day were her visits with Lotus, the Barn Owl. There was a little window Lili would open on her daily visits to her garden where Lotus would fly through to perch herself on Lili's arm. Lili had a special gift, she was able to communicate with animals. But Lotus was special, she was like Lili. Wise, compassionate and changeable. Lotus would tell Lili of her adventures from the night before, providing stories that mostly made her smile. However, that night Lotus' story wasn't a good one. Knowing how important health and organic foods were to Lili, Lotus told her how many kids were getting sick recently with diseases outside of Tibet from fast-food restaurants popping up all over the world, especially in America. This upset Lili greatly. One of her dreams was to fight cancer and other diseases through the power of healing foods. Lili asked Lotus how she knew of this. Lotus explained that she was perched on a tree above a restaurant in town and overheard two men talking about possibly opening a fast food place in Tibet. They mentioned how they wanted to destroy the good health of our people and country with french fries.

"What? French fries? Lotus, what is the name of this restaurant?" Lili asked. Lotus said, "Smack Donald's. There's something in the seasoning of the french fries that makes them sick slowly which would eventually require medications." Lili said, "So this about money?" "Unfortunately, yes. more sickness more medication. Get what I'm saying?" Lotus, The Barn Owl promised to find out more by their next visit in the garden.

Outraged, Lili went to her bedroom, which was as whimsical, fantastic and magical as she was. It was a large room with very high ceilings. The walls were red with snow blossoms painted everywhere. In places, the snow blossoms were painted as though they were blowing in a soft wind, and in others they were drizzling down from the Heavens landing on soft, fluffy snow. In the southeast corner of her room was her desk and computer. To the left was a wall covered in books about food, herbs, vegetables and fruit. And of course, there were cookbooks, hundreds of them. The blanket on her bed was handmade by her mother, made of red velvet embroidered with golden silk, turquoise and pearl beads. Tons of golden pillows surrounded her as she slept. She spent hours in her room as she imagined it looked like Heaven. Researching all she could find about the seasoning, as well as foods, plants and flowers that she could grow high up in the mountains of the Himalayas, she hoped she might find a way to stop this. She always dreamed she might find a cure for cancer one day, but it seemed to her it was the bad ingredients in these fast food places that could cause many diseases and eventually cancer.

Falling asleep, Lili fell into a deep sleep and began to dream. It began when she was five years old and had golden hair, emerald green eyes and beautiful full red lips and was wearing a pink dress. She was from royalty and lived in Tibet. It was dinnertime with her family, but this experience was much different from her real life dining. There were servants and the table was very long. Everyone sat far away from each other and the food was inedible. Then she found herself in another room, a round room with high ceilings that were ornate. The colors were deep yet vibrant red with inlaid leaves of gold. In the center of the dome like ceiling were golden 'protector dogs', like at the entrance of a Chinese temple. There were three of them in a circle with their heads facing down towards the floor. They were made of gold with spikes around their bodies with emeralds for eyes. There she was standing directly below these dogs in this large round, empty room. Suddenly, one of the ‘protectors’ detached itself from the ceiling and latched onto her. It hurt because of the spikes. It was holding Lili tight, while Lili was begging it not to kill her. She then calmed down and thought maybe it was 'bleeding' her like the ancient acupuncture healers used when getting rid of inflammation in a joint.

Suddenly in a deep echo like voice said, “Hold still. You are being given a gift of healing. It is not important to know why and what, just accept it." Simultaneously, it detached from her and returned to the ceiling. She then found herself in a chair with very short people wearing red holding her while someone in an ornate purple robe with diamonds stuck a very large needle through her right temple all the way to her left temple. She felt no pain and was told that was all the information she was going to get today and to expect her forehead to slightly protrude where her third eye was. Next, she suddenly found herself in a glass boat and knew then that she was on a mission. It was a very important mission that was going to save people from near extinction. She looked at herself in the glass reflection. She was clothed in chef’s whites holding a Samurai sword. Her body was strong, and she felt no longer afraid of her ability to see into the future. The dreamed ended and she woke up, sweating. She drank some water and went back to sleep. The dream seemed to continue as she was checking into a hotel on her way to Tibet. She received a text and on the caller ID was the word “Tibet”. The text said they would be contacting her over the phone and to answer the phone. Suddenly the phone rang, and she answered and there was a recorded message that said, “Lili, you are to find seven ingredients to make a wafer of some kind, the size of a Communion wafer. It will be difficult and there will be major adversaries along the way that you will need to fight in order to find one very important ingredient that will create the synergy in the wafer to heal others. It might be someone you least expect, possibly even someone close to you. You are to leave on your eighteenth birthday, giving you plenty of time to hone your skills. You will need to pay close attention over the next eight years to everything around you. The people you meet, things people say to you and so on. There will be a dark time in the world and this wafer will heal the people. In the present, you will be catapulted into the future through a door and you will journey through the future world where you will reverse the present futures demise."

Lili woke elated! Was she really going to do this in real life or was this a prophecy? Excited, Lili wanted animal names for her small army who will watch out for them. Obviously, Lili’s was Lotus- The Barn Owl. Barn owl possess intuition and the ability to see what others do not see. The presence of the owl confirms that change is coming and has the capacity to see beyond deceit and masks. The traditional meaning is the announcer of death, most likely symbolic to a life transition or change, not literal death. The future was coming and Lili was ready. She couldn't wait to talk to Lotus, The Barn Owl, to see what was next.
