Powerpuff Girls and Dexter's Laboratory Crossover

Girls.

Bubbles blushed slightly as she watched Dexter get pulled into his

house by his older sister.

"I'm starving, what's for dinner?" Buttercup said finding her soccer

ball in the grass.

"We're having pot roast and vegetables for dinner." The professor

said as he and Bunny started carrying in the groceries.

"Sounds good to me." Blossom said as she started to help

encouraging the others to help as well.

They all headed in the house, groceries in hand. Bubbles saw Dexter

eating dinner with his family through his kitchen window as she put

the bananas away. He looked her way just as Bell started setting the

table. She turned and started helping as the professor finished

preparing the meal he'd obviously made using a crock pot. They all

sat around the table quietly eating. The silence was awkward so

Buttercup started picking at and playing with her food.

"So... uh... Bunny, do you like sports?" Buttercup said trying to spark

up a conversation.

"I'm not really that into them, but | do love a good game of dodge

ball." Bunny said cheerfully. "Maybe we should all play a game after

dinner?"

"Oh man, | haven't played that in ages." Bubbles laughed. "I almost

forgot that game existed."

"Hey I'm game, | love dodge ball." Buttercup said smirking

menacingly.

"Uhh... maybe I'll just read a book after dinner." Bell said nervously

looking the other way. "I'm sure I'd just get in the way."

"Ah, well don't worry I'm not really a huge fan of sports either."

Bubbles said winking at Bell. "| have some books in my room you

can choose from. | could also teach you how to embroider and

crochet."

"Pfft, girly stuff!" Buttercup said scarfing down her food.

"I'd love that." Bell said grinning as she finished her food.

After dinner Buttercup, Blossom and Bunny went into the backyard

to set up their dodge ball game. Bell and Bubbles sat out front ona

bench swing the professor had set up. Bubbles had brought a few

different colors of yarn and a few crochet needles.

"Hey Bubbles, What are you and Bell making?" Dexter said walking

over with curiosity.

"Hey Dexter, we're just making scarves." Bubbles said getting some

baby blue yarn ready. "Everyone else is outback playing dodge ball."

Dexter's eyes became as wide as saucers.

"Well, not to be rude but I'm glad I'm not playing." Dexter said sitting

down next to Bubbles.

"Why's that?" Bubbles said looking over at Dexter who looked

relaxed and content now.

"I'm horrible at it... heck back in elementary school | was so bad a

built a mobile suit just so | could win." Dexter said laughing and face

palming.

"Woah, that is bad." Bell said laughing a bit.

"| came back to discuss what we're going to do about Mojo Jojo and

Princess." Dexter said looking up at the stars.

"Yeah, that is a problem. If we just keep throwing them in jail they're

just going to keep doing the same things again." Bubbles said gently

showing Bell how to start crocheting.

Just then a beautiful, blonde girl came up to them holding a stack of

flyers.

"Hello, we're recruiting young ladies who would like to make a

difference in our community." The blonde girl said perkily.

"Umm... sure we'll take a flier." Dexter said raising an eyebrow.

"Oh, I'm sorry but males are not allowed to join." The girl said

handing a flier to Bubbles and Bell.

"Don't you think that's a bit... well... sexist?" Bubbles said eyeing the

flyer.

On the poster there was a female symbol with two snakes wrapped

around it. The poster read "Mecha Ninja Nurse Squad. Join and

together we will lift women up!"

"Not at all. We just want to create more opportunity for the female

portion of the community." The blonde said yawning a bit. "The first

meeting is at Townsville park tomorrow at noon. You know, the one

with the volcano? Well, | must be off." She left and they were left in

awkward silence.

"That was strange." Dexter said looking at the flier.

"Yeah, you're not kidding." Bubbles said giving Dexter a weary look.

Dexter couldn't resist a yawn and a stretch.

"Well, we won't be able to find out much until their meeting. | suggest

we get some sleep." Dexter said giving Bubbles a loving hug. "You

sleep well and stay safe."

"We'll be fine. You sleep well and stay safe too." Bubbles said

hugging him back.

Dexter headed back home and Bell and Bubbles continued

crocheting. What tomorrow would bring would simply have to wait as

everyone took some much needed time to rest.
