I was sitting in my small lab in my home . I was in the middle of inspecting my drill and cleaning it when I heard knocking at the door . I went to the door and saw a short German Shepard guard holding 3 letters . When he saw me he nodded at me and handed the notes . I nodded back and he took off . When letters from royalty or government are being sent to us civilians , the gaurds are ordered not to speak . That way the message isn’t effected in anyway .

I placed the letters of John and Bulls Eye on the table . Then I opened mines and began to read the contents . It was from the chiefs assistant Mordjal . He’s a small bubbly bulldog . Very loyal and tough too . In fact I think he’s stronger than me and my friends . He has really strong hand to hand and has a devastating wind vacuum power that keeps fights close . It's a terrifying combination to witness . It would probably be even more devastating to have to fight him .

The contents of the letter were as follows . Dear Bright , you have accepted the chiefs offer for a special mission . You are officially ordered to meet up with the specially selected team at Sun down . The location for the meeting is at the west entry gate . Sincerely Mordjal

I thought to myself that it would probably be the best idea to let the guys sleep as long as possible . I wanted to get some training in but I would rather take it easy physically . Mentally I knew I had a task to do that I had to try . There was an upgrade that I wanted to add to my drill . I decided to give myself a challenge to see if I could upgrade it in time . The risk was daunting but the reward would be exponentially great .

I worked on my drill for a few hours and I think I figured it out . Using the inspiration from viceroys powers . I retooled my drill so that the arm can extend and move with my 4 way trigger . The drill will move in either direction that I push the trigger in . I have to physically angle the drill myself to give me a full , all around attack radius . Thankfully my drill is way lighter than it looks and I've been getting stronger physically as well .

I can’t wait to give my new drill a try . It can only extend 10 feet right now with the material I have . I used thin coils of steel and the strongest thread I can find to make a flexible but strong arm . By my calculations , it shouldn’t even be able to be cut by strong swords and swordsmen .

I decided to use the few hours I had left before sunset doing practice target on some old trees near the edge of the village . It was by the west gate so it made since for me to be fully packed up before I went . After I packed up and was ready to go I decided to wake the guys up . I grabbed their letters and shoved it in both of their confused faces as they woke up . I explained that I was leaving early to do a little training of my own and that I would meet them at the west gate .
