We stopped at the cafe to grab our breakfast . We both ordered eggs and toast . She wanted coffee though , I decided to get some juice for myself . After I finished paying for the food we took off to the river . We found a great spot to lay a picnic at . The grass was low and there were even a few decent sized boulders around to place things on . We placed the blankets on the grass first , and then the food as we sat down and got comfortable .

At first we just enjoyed our food and the beautiful sights . There were pretty blue Linny Birds . ( They look like Earths mocking birds but they heave beaks more similar to pigeons . They are usually blue but there are rare ones that can be spotted that are all white . Since they have a similar body and wings as a mockingbird . They also fly and move similar to mockingbirds .) We also gazed at the beautiful river as it flowed down the stream . We both enjoy the white noise that natural flowing water brings .

We finished eating and then Goldy started to talk first . “ Thank you for the meal , I just have a good feeling that it’s going to be an amazing day . Don’t you think ?” After she said it , she stared deep in my eyes smiling . I replied to her , “ You could’t be more right Goldy .“ Positive energy was surrounding her like a golden aura . Or maybe it was just the sunlight .

We hung out for a while and mostly just had small talk . She didn’t want to bring up anything stressful and I can appreciate that . As perceptive as she is it was probably best for the both of us . We are not the type to do the tearful goodbyes . When it was time to go she even initiated it . I was grateful because I wasn’t sure if I had the guts to tell her . We both stood up , and before we started to pack up our belongings . I grabbed and gave her a strong firm hug . We then made out for a few minutes . Silent tears fell down her eyes as we started walking towards her home .

We got to her house and she made the goodbyes quick . “ Check on me as soon as you get back okay . I love you ." She took off running into her house as I quickly shouted . “ Okay I love you too ! “ I could see her brother staring at me weirdly from the window of his room . She’s roommates with her brother and sister . I waved at Lark smiling and then he shut his curtain . What a jackass I thought to myself as I walked away . The whole situation just seemed deeper than before . We’ve told each other the love word before , but this time I feel like we really meant it .

I went home to do some minor battle preparations . When I arrived the guys were taking a nap . They must've been training all morning like they told me they were . Damn I thought , them not having a girlfriend might be an advantage . Me being who I am though looked at it as a challenge . I wondered why John wasn't with Sylvi . Anyways I'll just have to find a way to overcome that advantage they have . In no shape or form do I plan to be behind my best friends forever .
