Part 4: Golinda's searches of the Pilgrim Soul

Kat had been seeing and hearing things again. Shapes appeared in the grains of wood, swirls of marble and shape of clouds. Pareidolia often happened when she felt her life force move through the general, intellectual, moral and cultural zeitgeist of an era. She felt a well of forces hit each other causing relativity storms. During this lifetime she had weathered many such storms, and knew that she needed to slow down to appreciate the source of the spirit.

Kat remembered when she and Bob were in Spain. They were walking on the roof of Casa Mila, appreciating the faceless wisps of Casper-like adults and children.

Kat was excited. " I love these guardians. They stand as bright jewels looking in all directions and with their various poses. I feel safe."

Bob added, "Gaudi did the work of a genius. I appreciate how well he captured a physical manifestation of waves. Check out the wave of the balcony-lined streets toward the ocean.”

Kat could not have been happier than to share this part of her life’s journey with Bob. They saw eye to eye on things and shared an ever-fixed mark, especially when it came to appreciating waves. She said “ Gaudi valued nature's beauty and wisdom."

Bob, was reading an information placard and summarized, "Gaudi was the pioneer of recycling. He developed the trencadis technique, made with broken mosaics. He inspires humans to act responsibly."

Kat nodded in agreement. " We have technology - it has made so much possible- but the machine mind is programmed to calculate algorithms that often devalue and sacrifice resources. Few individuals know how to apply nature to make resources."

Bob and Kat shared many common values as educators. Bob was a wizard in the field of Science. He patiently let her bounce ideas off of him as she listened to the call of her spirit.

They walked to the Familia Sagrada, the Church of the Holy Family. Kat spoke with passion. “I love the way Barcelona has supported Gaudi's work. This church is a work in progress and does not follow the traditional business model. It supports the evolution of the human spirit as a priceless commodity.”

She and Bob appreciated how Gaudi used the form and function of various plants and animals in his architectural structures. As they walked through the church, they were bathed in rainbows of light. Kat turned to Bob, " This place holds the presence of the Fairy Godmother. It was Bob's turn to nod and he gave Kat a hug.

The trip to Barcelona had sparked Kat's story, 'Head Start'. It outlined an inter-disciplinary program that reflected the Greek definition of school, as a leisure activity. The 'Head Start' program offered students the keys to open the door to the paths that unblocked their unconscious and gave them insight into their interests. Over the year, Kat had developed the lessons and the characters in her myth.

Kat had spray painted a curved glass clock face black to make a wide angled black Claude glass called a Lorraine mirror that is a drawing aid. The students used it to draw themselves. She explained, "From that dark aspects reflected from these small, splintered, black convex mirrors, look for the spark of the alchemist’s fires and resurrect the spirit of the Fairy Godmother from the dark unknown. She is life force with a creative power that leads to enlightenment.The Fairy Godmother wanders as a particle in a wave, through a maze that flows between matter and space."

The Fairy Godmother evolved in different areas of study. In ecology she became part of a coven of dryads, one of the Green Fairies who like the Green men of Celtic myth, live in Oak trees, a tree of the climax community that maintains the ground for the future seeds to grow. In chemistry she moved like Magnus’s green salt to create and reflect the red and magenta glow that passes in wisps of dreams, imaginings and memories.

Bob appreciated Kat's zany imagination. He remembered when she first shared her ideas of spirit with him. He had not been prepared.

" I had a religious upbringing, and was always curious about how it applied to me. When a situation arose, a spirit ignited in my mind’s eye, creating it's own light and energy. In a carnivalesque show and tell, Golinda whispered messages that go beyond conventional paradigms. Sometimes Golinda provided relaxation, wellness or even answers. Golinda directed me to learn science and healing wisdom traditions.

"Golinda melded dreams of what might be, and aspects of dearly departed faithful friends and mentors into my core. She was my guardian angel who was there when I journeyed on the road less travelled. For as far back as I can remember, I always found far greater peace when I just listened to her, my inner spirit."

Bob had listened to Kat as these characters became well defined. "Golinda depends of her dragon Gallopatrot. Gallopatrot is a great communicator. He deals with the epigenetic super-organism that inhabits our gut and mitochondria that EO Wilson describes as having ‘Palaeolithic emotions, medieval institutions and god-like technology'. He also connects well to the heart that connects to the mind translating and interpreting memories are into artistic,culinary, musical and astrological cultural traditions that transmit folklore and values."

Kat explained "Gallopatrot is the stone lion- what the Chinese call a foo dog or Shishi. With wide bulging eyes and bared fangs, graceful hind legs and flaring tufts of mane and tail and wings, he seeks to protect and help me with risk assessment, weighing happiness and prosperity against misfortune and want. Gallopatrot is intrinsically connected to nature at all its levels and is seen in the dragon curves found throughout nature, from clouds to coastlines and the self-similar fractal curves that are found within the hippocampus. The little sea horse holds memories, locked in neurologically hard-wired pathways connected to the reptilian brain that helps survival."

Kat used these characters to help students overcome challenges by explaining "Golinda and Gallopatrot work to find balance. They are co-creators who shape and are shaped by what attracts and repulses them. Throughout life, we create memories. Over the waves of time, memories can be a blessing that helps survival probabilities or a curse that elicits fear. What is sensed and wished for, is pieced together from experiences that make emotional invented and factual memories that are often blocked because we cannot process them. Memories can cause fear of loss or change."

Kat explained that life always has change. With gentle guidance, she spoke about how the spirit and dragon can work together and alter hippocampal episodic memories based on personal experiences. She helped students establish long term changes in synaptic connections that contributed to further learning. Her approach in 'Head Start' led to a high rate of success in decreasing perceived somatic signs of suffering and increasing feelings of joy.

Kat recalled when she and Bob were strolling along the wide streets of Passeig Gracia, enjoying the Walk of thanks. They stopped and enjoyed a meal of a Spanish tortilla and tapas and a bottle of sparkling Cava, sharing a Meli Mata, mountain fresh cheese covered in honey with quince and nuts for desert. Kat said " This meal is yet another proof that individuals hold the power to recreate a spirit of the past."

Bob quipped, " This cook confirms that aspects of a spirit can ascend into the other realms of time and space."

Kat added. "Indeed, the spirit understands and can withstand changes. I was thinking about how to describe the Fairy Godmother, I'll call her FG, no, Effigy. She is the axis that balances the pendulum swing in a cycle."

Bob had taken out a napkin and explained. "A sine wave is formed by drawing a line as a circle spins. The amplitude and frequency of the line changes, as the ratio increases from zero to one. The sine wave formed during this cycle is abbreviated as Sin."

She looked up from under her lowered eyes. "Sin comes from roots words of ancient Greek, that mean to miss the mark, as in archery. Sin was the God that Moses opposed. Sin defines for the audience, inherent variability and deviations that occur."

Bob factually said," Sin describes the oscillating pulse within the wave in the exponential volume of a ray of the light or sound cone."

Kat had said, " The Fairy Godmother, is an invisible hub, a force that can transfer a message."

Bob agreed with this metaphor. He added, "Your Fairy Godmother does well on the hypergeometric Reimann curved spherical surface. The Reimann sphere is shaped like a tennis ball cut open, and defined as a complex plane. It holds biochemical tessellations of similar shapes distort so they can tile and fit together without gaps or overlap in a perfect marriage. It looks like a soccer ball or a hive. These distortions can lead to regular folds on a manifold that are represented in physics and mathematics as tau."

Kat interupted."Chinese speak of the flow of the universe as Tao, where yin and yang move in harmony through a decentralized autonomous organization, of self-imposed rules."

Bob added, "Mathematical manifolds in the scalar field have a dimension of size. In the vector field, there has motion with direction. Distortions in the fields form around an fundamental particle, an atom, the cells of the body, or societies hold the potential to cause particles to rivet in an arc, fly through time and space with the greatest of ease and by twinning forces and displacement cause deformations of the wave."

Kat chuckled, "How perfect, Effigy can be flung into the space of the gap where a moment occurs and become the queen of the hive!"

Bob winked, "Clever. Let's take this a bit further. The Sine wave holds a memory of what went before, so, according to Newton''s third law, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. In metals, this creates the curve of hysteresis.Hysteresis is a physical property, where the state of a system holds a delay or lag from a point that depends on its history. A hysteresis lag is caused by the magnetic curve of induction that lags behind changes in a magnetizing force. " Bob drew the curve.

Kat said, " That looks like the paisley loop of the Tao Tai Chi symbol that describes the path of chi and the natural order of the universe that leads to the eight treasures of the immortals. Who would have guessed, the spirits wander through the hysteresis movement of energy. Come to think of it, hysteresis describes the shape of muscle fibres, the shape of eyes and the lips and even a lotus flower blooming."

Bob continued to add facts. "Hysteresis occurs in metals that are heated, and bend resulting in a click that can open or close a switch. If the load is too heavy it causes the metals to wiggle and the low grumbles distort and turn into a squeal or screech of hysteresis."

Kat was flushed with excitement. "First hysteresis lets the past reappear in a future form, then it can squeal." Kat studied music and made a connection." This reminds me of a tidbit I know about music. A cord with a diminished fifth or augmented fourth, suggests evil. It is defined in an A 440Hz octave as the diabolos and called the devil’s tritone, because it does not fit easily into the theory of harmony in musical composition. Anyone who sings it does so with a squeal or scream.

"I've got it, the Fairy Godmother accepts that it is okay when the patterns of the past are altered, resets the compass and hits a new sweet spot of harmony within the music of the heavens to ease the squeal of hysteresis. Effigy is the steady mark who carries the song of angels from the inert but not forgotten past."

"Give her an inch and she takes a mile" Bob guffawed and continued. "Hysteresis holds fundamental particles that are regarded as localized excitations of fluctuating fields. They start at the intersection of waves. Fields are also found around atoms. They follow the same pattern of hysteresis. Imagine the shape of tear drops in water and the ripples that extend on the surface of the pond. Hysteresis occurs in the space lag between polarities of possibilities where weak interactions control the molecular and subatomic structures."

"Do tell more" pleaded Kat.

Bob took a napkin and drew as he explained. "Weak forces control parallel elliptical lines of force in the magnetic field that projects from the sun to the dark side of the earth. The spinning iron core of the Earth twists the magnetosphere into the shape of an unequal infinity sign, a figure-eight, known as a Lissajous loop. Gravity can pull and stretch these magnetic lines into hysteresis forming distortions of the magnetopause. They form the long-tailed tear drop called the night arrow."

"How perfect. My Fairy Godmother shoots an arrow that is a trajectory from what appears to be infinity." mused Kat.

"You are literally stretching the idea of hysteresis" said Bob with a giggle before continuing. "Subatomic forces extend from the universe to the electromagnetic microtubules involved in DNA replication. They are natural manifestation of weak interactions. Free energy due to weak interactions becomes stronger than any other in DNA."

"Gosh" said Kat, " Now the Fairy Godmother is a force that works by doing the little things."

"You've got that right my dear.Think of weak forces as the Alan key, that act as a lever." explained Bob. They form a toroidal field that cause a movement as they spin like a windmills and can be measured with sines and cosines and all that exists between polarities."

" I am stuck with the image of spirits that descend from the aether on Jacob’s vision of a ladder built by God." Kat doodled on the napkin. " It is sometimes shown as a parallel structure where angels carry the forces of the flames of the stars, and incarnate as matter grounded on the earth. Da Vinci draws a ladder curved in the same ratios as DNA. Others draw the ladder as a parallel structure. MS Escher shows the stairway to heaven in all a matter of perspective and mathematics."

Bob added, "Well- hang onto your socks and consider this. DNA has a visible phosphorescent glow that occurs in short spurts over long cycles. This is likely because phosphates along the backbone ligate to form coordination compounds with sugars and bases through weak hydrogen bonding and phosphates repulse from each other twisting the ladder into a double helix. Phosphorus is found throughout the body and is solid semitransparent soft waxy solid that causes a flush seen in all skin tones ."

Kat almost cried with glee. "Spirits appear behind masks that mimic blended archetypes from what is known or imagined. They can cause a glow!"

"So can exercise" said Bob dead-pan. "Phosphorous is like most any element, it release energy when elements interact. Hydrogen, when excited, releases a unique line spectra with four levels above ground state. As hydrogen drops quanta energy levels, light is released in an emission spectra. A few hydrogen atoms per cubic centimetre can form the inner light, that can offer some control over the vast nature of reality. Hydrogen can carry the flammable essence of phosphine gasses that are found in the clouds of Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, and on Earth are created by anaerobic microbes in the gut and mitochondrial cells from phosphates found in DNA."

" I think I've got it." Kat said earnestly. Hydrogen the first and most simple element, can interact with phosphorous and with a spark can cause a flame."

Bob reflected, "General Sun Tzu (500BC) wrote on the art of war. He said ‘Know thy enemy, and know yourself; in a hundred battles, you will never be defeated.' Yes dear, you've got the gist."

Kat sat breathing. She attempted to answer the call of the Fairy Godmother who can alter possibilities and create the gap through which the invisible force can move with a calm, unruffled, unfretted temper. "The spirit is poetically interpreted in mathematics, religion, philosophy and art and is explained by you, my Wizard, who looks at physical chemistry."

Bob responded. "Physical chemistry is based on the ancient arts of metallurgy known as Parusavedi. It describes the dancing Buddha who works with ignorance to explain how a spirit is justly reincarnated. Science does not describe all that might be hoped for, but is a common starting ground that provides the foundations of a discussion about how force moves and affects matter that was, is or will be. "

Kat smiled. "I love that physical chemistry protects the possibility of hope for the future - that is neither a delusion nor disappointment."

Bob returned the smile. "Jean Baudrillard, the high priest of post-modernism, postulates that with more information, there is less meaning. He warns of the difference between a simulation and the hyper-real."

This conversation had set Kat on the path to write her program. She used facts and created magical realism from the hyper-real. The students were given the opportunity to interpret mythical stories of the archetypal spirit guides that pass through time and space. Without awareness, humans translate the whispers of life’s experience into a language that leaves a mark on their soul. Humans are natural scientists who want to hypothesize and test what they believe and then use what they find as fact.

Kat had created her own myth of the Fairy Godmother, abbreviated as FG, and personalized by calling her Effigy. The Fairy Godmother was the sacred feminine, crudely described as the genetic common denominator found in both males and females, not only the X chromosome but the female mitochondria found in all cells. Her influence connected each individual with the waves of the cosmos.

Effigy walked the path of the rainbow warrior, along the borders between the stages of change. Students were given opportunities to observe and measured how the ROYGBIV colour pattern is refracted through a prism. They learned to see double rainbows resonate, and discover for themselves, that they were mirror images of each other. Then they learned about the gap between colours of the rainbow in the solar spectrum.

The gap that was first identified by Fraunhofer, in 1812 when he saw that the interior of the sun emits a continuous connected spectrum of wavelengths in the visible spectrum in a rainbow. Fraunhofer discovered about 500 dark curved areas, formed by atoms existing as gasses in the outer area around the sun. The colour spectra are separated by apparent resistivity where photons or star radiation at specific wavelength are absorbed because of water content, temperature and wind. There is no pure vacuum, but for a moment, inter-band transitions take place between the physical polarities and form lines specific to the elements present in the gases that absorb the other colours.

For the final evaluation,each student then interpreted facts through intellectual or artistic endeavours or a physical activity, to reinforce the lessons they had learned. School was fun.

Kat had continued to write about how the spirit works in the space between infinite points in the line. The Fairy Godmother could find the way to unite those who realize their potential through manifestations and the ignorant, self-confident dreamer who chooses to believe what they want.

Effigy is part of the force that forms waves that make up matter and antimatter, air, water, gas, sound light, electromagnetism, gravity and the elements of life. The Wizard applies physical chemistry, to understand Effigy’s message in a way that warrants acceptance, respect, and understanding. For him, the spirit lives in the land of periodic trends and noble gasses.

Kat had come to consider that humans are finely tuned calcium metal framed machines built to support the spirit of the sacred feminine.The human is an Automaton, a vessel for this spirit that is charged in the most sacred way, to give and take, share, and accept as needed to optimize or excite are inherent qualities. Effigy can move through the iron containing blood, a lattice bridge carrying elements of the environment. The blood flows around the heart’s magnetic core in the same pattern as iron filings around a magnet.

The Automaton can sense the force in the wind, in the chits and trills of melodious tunes sung by birds, and the whirring of bees, bats or motors hurling electrons faster than fighter planes. On occasion the automaton calls on the spirit of Effigy. She can melt frozen thoughts that slow down the production of the elixir needed for human automatons to optimally function as a healthy individual living in the insane normal world of the hive. Effigy can move the vital spark of energy between the inner and outer world and release Soma, the nectar of immortality.

Soma is associated with wisdom, that offers confidence, faith and trust that our heart and minds can express a free and joyful nature through the movement between all apparent polarities. Soma offers the deepest type of happiness that is independent of what is happening. Soma can be released in sacred chants and prayers recited out loud or in the mind that control breathing and establishes awareness of the pulse that connects heart, mind and gut. Each breath holds an inhale, pause and exhale that forms a palindrome, where the message reads the same forwards and backwards but has different meaning. This is where the spirit comes face to face with the devil’s triabolus, a series of cords that results in no two people hearing the same tune without training. The repeated Aumaumauma becomes moomoomoo.

In a fluke of language, tritone palindromes form another message. “ Madam I ‘m adam” Refer: Sagas - Deified redivider, level rotor, solos kayak race car. Civic radar reviver. Sis - Peep pop Mom, nun, noon rotator, redder dewed tenet stats -wow. "

Adding to the confusion, the Shepard’s tone, with the super-positioning of sine waves created by octaves, creates auditory or visual illusions of what appears to be a constantly augmenting or dementing spiral.

Kat read about the Sacred feminine in prayers from the Bible, Torah, the Devi Sukta of the Rigveda 10.125.3-8 and Zen story of Queen Srimala that outlines the doctrines of Buddhist teachings are targeted to describe right understanding.

In the Lion’s roar sutra, the lion is symbolic of the bodhisattvas, the sons of Buddha, who practice the six paramitas: charity, morality, patience, effort, concentration and wisdom, through skillful means, vows, power and knowledge. In the Torah, the lion is represents astronomical and astrological configurations of the sun at its maximum strength when it is in the house of Leo. The lion is traced to the Babylonian Semitic solar divinity Shamash, and Ahi of ancient Egypt, and through Jacob’s blessing, to Jesus, who is said to be the lion of Judah who wears the crown traces to the house of David. Narasimha, half lion, half man is one of Vishnu’s incarnations born on the day of Soma pressing.

What sealed her belief in the spirit that arises as part of human nature was a result of what Louis Pasteur had noted: 'chance favours the prepared mind'. Her 18 month old grandson had made his first series of bok choy stem paintings. Her daughter had let her outline one that Kat called a masterpiece. She drew Golinda riding on her beloved dragon Gallopatrot whose face held aspects of a lion. In its open mouth was a bull headed ox outlined by the light of the moon. Upon his back sat a little blue bird.

Kat began to sing the bluebirds song, 'It’s the truth its actch’ll. Everything is satisfactch’ill'. As one of her grandson's greatest fans, she felt his art held hints of the poetic genius of Raphael and William Blake who depict Ezekiel, kneeling or standing under a light, viewing the Merkabah, a chariot pulled by the tetramorph, the four creatures of Revelation, a lion, bull, man and eagle. The spirit within Kat's imagination had seen the resonating fractal heavenly faces that are representative of the created order were formed by the natural swing of her grandson's little arms and choice of colours. The picture formed a crystalline structure that lets the murmur of the spirit ring true and quell the squeal of hysteresis that vibrated the heart strings connected to the gut and brain. She heard a unique melody enriched by thought, skill and action.

The spirit is described in the world of scientific statistics, that offer their own myth from interpretations of a particle wave duality, with multiple degrees of freedom. Understanding conformational geometry, the wizard translates the adaptive quasi stable state, where the field can become an attractor that penetrates fractal dimensions in an invisible isomorphic phase space, using the theory of everything from the power 3 in the light cone, up to the power of 12 give or take an order of magnitude. The Fairy Godmother is a nonconforming ingenious opportunist, who can leap, nudge, and adjust the vortex within a curving Mobius configuration of the universe.The spirit is in a constant state of change. Any perturbation event can affect the future. In renormalization, the perturbation restructures, and at a critical length, transforms a range of lattice interactions.

Kat had presented the Fairy Godmother as the spirit found in all males and females. This would be reason enough to burn Effigy- it would not be the first time. The ancient spirit is burned into the atomic structure and awakened when certain stimuli recreate algorithmic responses. The spirit helps to face fear near the beginning or end of an epoch. Loss and renewal are part of the wave of hysteresis.

We are facing extinction possibilities. Resources are being depleted. Climate changes and another Ice age, due to a random asteroid or human abuse of carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus, oxygen or other cycles, cannot be ignored. It is with the help of the spirit, an honest, stalwart altruist who feels a connection to past and future, that humanity can face fear. Through weak interactions, they can have a full, rich experience and realize the dreams of an era that hold the crepuscular blue light of memory.

Kat looked at Bob. They smiled at each other, knowing that they had listened and responded to the spirit to the best of their ability. The program Head Start, was a vehicle that the future might use to create and maintain a temple for the indomitable human spirit that does not search for the meaning of life, but how to make life give meaning to existence.
