What can we learn from an open book? To me there are many things and ideas that one can learn from an open book. In reading nursery rhymes one can learn proper manners from what not to do, as seen in several of these rhymes. In reading short stories one learns the basics of structure and still learn the intricate ways to get along with others and begin to understand why certain things happen basically. In reading novels, the learning continues with even more intricate details of what is happening in the book and in even in living life.
Open books give us all an opportunity to peruse information for facts or just for fun. Even though there are eBooks on various screens there will always be paper books to hold in our hands and turn the pages to open our minds when there is an open book or books to gain our interest in one or more subjects presented by writers and even other professions that open the various worlds to all of us.
So, the next time you see an open book just pick it up and start to read it for there are a lot of surprises.

Strange, I still collect books, yet find it harder and harder to stay interested in the topics, Vocal has set my mind on a higher plane. It has to be really good to hold my interest. But I still love the written words and books.
Great, Mark!! Nicely written and so true!😊💕💗
Beautifully put. Embracing the habit of reading can truly enrich our lives in so many ways.
