Description

Octavia had fallen in love for the first time, with the perfect person, on paper. There was however one little issue the sex was bad; more than bad, it was terrible. While at bachelorettes she gets a little too drunk and finds herself waking up in the bed of a stranger; and her only memory is the life-changing sex, and the guy is a complete dick.

Octavia finds herself in an unusual situation not wanting to walk away from who she believes is the love of her life, but equally unable to stop having that unforgettable sex with an arrogant arsehole.

Octavia Raczkowski was something of a fortunate individual. Regularly spending tens of thousands of dollars on designer clothes, she had more money than you could imagine. Although she may have been on the spoilt side of things, she worked for a lot of what she had and was considered Los Angeles' top retailer. Her sunglasses were now being traded for poker chips. Her father had always dreamed of expanding into Las Vegas but had yet to take the plunge.

Octavia was currently on her way to the airport with a glass of champagne in her hand, surrounded by five other girls. There was Cara, a strong-willed individual who also happened to be Octavia's cousin. Cara had recently begun dating a law student at Columbia. She knew this was her cousin's first real relationship, so she hoped the girl would finally have a happy ending. Next to her was Diana, the person they were celebrating this week. When it came to their love stories, Diana and Octavia couldn't be more different. Octavia had been with her boyfriend since she was fifteen years old. Diana had slept with half of Manhattan before realizing that Jack was the one for her.

Hannah was the timid one. She guessed she only had a few encounters with the girl. Recently, she had been offered a role on Broadway. She was part of the chorus, but this job was allowing her to live the lifestyle she had always wanted. Then there was Elsa, who was still tragically single but much more open when it came to her sexuality. She had however recently taken up bartending. She made great tips and loved the face-to-face contact with people, so she wasn't going to complain about that. Last, there was Sophie, who should be the next one to walk down the aisle after Diana. She has been engaged for two years to Diana's brother but is unable to save enough money. However, after all that time she had finally found a stable job, working as a legal secretary and so her wedding was a little closer than it was before.

The six girls were chatting away about the plans that Octavia had made. She was a planner and some people found her a little controlling when it came to day-to-day life, but you knew that if Octavia was in charge of your holiday you would see the best of the best.

The limo pulled onto the runway simply meters away from the private plate. Naturally, the red carpet had been rolled out for them, and the pilots along with the in-flight team. Octavia greeted every member by name, doing the stupid air kisses as she went down the line, before taking the first steps up the plane.

"Octavia," Diana says, causing the girl to turn around and look down at the girl. It could be quite intimidating for those on the floor to look directly in the eyes of someone halfway up a private plane. Octavia paused, holding on to the rail a little tighter than the average person would. "Is it okay if we take a photo with all of us on the steps?" Octavia held on to the barrier a little tighter and moved down a couple of steps to feel a little better about the distance between her and the ground.

"Yeah, that's fine. David, do you mind?" she says looking at the co-pilot. He had newly qualified and therefore was currently working as a co-piolet. A plane this side would normally only have one pilot, especially for such a short trip between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. David nodded his head gesturing his hand at the phone which was in Diana's hand. The five girls climbed up the stairs and while Octavia held on for dear life they managed to position themselves in a way that no one overshadowed each other. Hannah and Octavia took the bottom while Octavia was still a good three inches taller than the girl they were still the tallest out of the group. Cara and Diana took the middle, while Elsa and Sophie took the top.

David took a few photos, a goofy one, a serious one, and a Charlie Angels vibe one. Diana squeezed between Hannah and Octavia running to get the phone from David. She turned around to the girls and gave a thumbs up to indicate there were several good photos there. The girls made their way up the rest of the steps to the main cabin. Cara paused at the top of the steps to fully appreciate the view of the white leather interior of the plane only for Octavia to shout.

"Cara, move your fat ass out the way so I can feel like I am would ground again." Cara quickly sped into the cabin and the other girls followed. Cara took one of the seats on the leather couch like a seat. The place next to her stayed empty and was revered for Diana. Octavia took the long sear which was currently facing the front, though it did turn around to face the rest of the plane. For take-off and landings, you could see right into the cockpit. This made Octavia feel a little more comfortable as she could brace herself for the part she hated more than anything.

There were still some last-minute safety checks so Octavia turned her chair around. Cara had been on a private plane before, but the other girls hadn't had the privilege. While Diana had flown business class several times, thanks to Jack she was in awe of this beautiful plane. It wasn't anything spectacular, but it was different from what these girls used to. For starters, it was free cha, page on board, so much legroom that you could stretch your legs out full and several built-in TV screens which would play nearly anything you can think of, from the lasted television shows, to classic movies from the nineteen twenties.

"So Octavia, what do you have planned for us today?" The tone was more than sarcastic because at the end of the day the two girls knew each other like sisters.

"Well we are just going to have dinner, and then go to the high roller, because it is a Thursday night and frankly I think we should wait to go big for the Friday and Saturday." Octavia followed this little comment by pulling out a binder. Now, this wasn't like a tiny binder, this was a control freak wet dream. Every page was colour-coded, there was a list of a huge range of different types of restaurants. Bathroom breaks were even marked down in this wonderful, complicated, and slightly messed up book. "It is alright. I am not then much of a prude. The Chippendale is Saturday entertainment. It includes dinner and door-to-door service." The girls cheered at this idea and Octavia smiled to herself as she was informed they would be taking off soon.

The journey wasn't a long one, but travelling had a habit of tiring out people even those who had grown a custom to jet setting. While none of the girls would admit to themselves let alone Octavia they were glad the idea of sightseeing wasn't going to happen properly until the following day.

The girls were staying at the ARIA Sky Suites, one of the most luxurious places in Las Vegas. As Octavia had called for the best when the girls arrived there were a dozen bottles of champagne on the kitchen table, a table that had the perfect view of the city. Chocolate was also with the champagne. Octavia pointed at the bedroom, explaining while everyone gets their double bed, one of the rooms had two so someone would have to share. Naturally, Cara and Diana exchanged a look with one another and both agreed to take the room. Three of the bedrooms, including the two double-bedded rooms. Sophie took the one next to the room, as it had the best view. While Octavia took the one which was looking directly at another building preventing her from seeing the bottom of this very high building. This left Elsa and Hannah to take the two rooms up the stairs.

While Octavia had stayed in nice places, she had to compliment them on the small details, such as all the towels in the suite were color-coded. While the future was all smoke and mirrors, that it wasn't priced as high as it should be, she knew that these girls wouldn't care about the fact that this was a sofa pretending to be ten thousand dollars, but was only a grand if they were lucky.

The bellmen arrived at the suite and helped Hannah and Elsa take their suitcases up the spiral stairs. The girls then conversed with one another and decided to have a little bit of a nap before meeting a five to go visit the High Roller, which might not be as famous as the London Eye but was just as spectacular.

Octavia took her time alone to phone her boyfriend, and she perched on the edge of her bed catching up with him, talking about his day and his plans for the evening.

When five did roll around, the girls took several photos showing off their outfits as well as the view before making their way back down to would ground.
