There weren't always dragons in the Valley. The old man's voice resonates in my headspace. Biking down the Louiza-lane, from the Bois de la Cambre towards the City centre. I shake my head to get his voice out and turn my gaze outside. All kinds of high end stores are shamelessly blinking their bling-blinging. Not a single person, walking the sidewalk, is underdressed. Every one looks razor-sharp, effortlessly high scoring the ‘Meh, look at me’-game. Even the street sex-workers, serving our diplomats and businessmen, look classy as fuck. I imagine the sex-workers here, work in chique service rooms offering a wide variety of phantasies, for a music sounding price of course. Nothing compared to the €44 stuff you get near the train station. An oddly intensifying sensation starts swelling up within me. As full of head my mind is, as relaxed is my body buzz. Like I’m a hot Spring cool wind blowing smoothly towards the City centre.

I’m frozen stuck at a red light, when I feel on the sidewalk, a powerful gush of two presences enter my view. On the left a very intimidating but not less attractive lady holding arms with her lady friend, cute looking one, walking straight past me. A phenomenon of lesbian couple-power.

I feint a blush, because I feel something is about to happen. I don’t know what is up with ‘lately’, I’ve been observing like a dimwit how my thoughts are insta-interacting with my surroundings. I will just shadow-think something and somehow see its shadow manifest in the real world. It’s been going on for some time now, now I feel ready to play it a bit. So I get in to flirtatious mode and I aim for the “scarier” one. Of course the cute looking one is totally my type, she has all the fresh eyed wide open nerve blueish hue with a pink flower petal looking smirch in the middle of her spot, not open but not closed- tight. A sweet delicate balance. She may as well flaunt her insecurities and doubts proudly into the world.

‘Her I may mess with’ is my first instinct-thought.

The other one, the Dragon Lady (term just popped in my mind full of head), obviously the omega in the couple, looks ferocious, dressed in professional looking leather, fiery golden, outpouring colourfully her hardcore gayness and feminine prowess into the world.

‘This one I may not mess with’ So, Her, I want to mess with, with my new insta-interacting powers .

That’s why I feinted a blush, I knew I had to be unpredictably predictable for this game, which I know I can’t afford, I mean if these are actual sex-workers, I know, by looking at them, I wouldn’t get their time, though I’d plunder my savings, in a blink of an eye, if I knew they’d sell me a few seconds. 7 seconds is all I need. I’m pretty fast thank you for noticing. Blush-feint. The cute looking one snaps my stream-ing consciousness by responding to my eye-contact as I suddenly notice I’m ogling them. Which made me blush for real. Ball's now in their court. “Don’t worry, it’s all over your face anyway, no need to hide that blush.” She says giggling and turns to her lady friend, the Dragon Lady who’s responding to my ogling like a predator beholding prey. “He wants to get into a 3 point entanglement situation with us, he thinks he can mess with us, Love.” She says cool with an enticing hypnotising voice. At this point I’m just flowing with the flow, because that’s what you got to do with insta-interacting. Sometimes you get a flash, a milli-second before the next second. Now, with very poor practice, I’m full on using all my powers instantly, full on mind and time bending.

I don’t know why they stopped and started talking to me, usually people on this lane walk about their busy looking days. The cute looking one, Love, after looking her partner in the eyes looks at me and asks: “You really believe you can mess with us?”

“With you I wouldn’t mind, but with her, your lady friend, the dragon lady here, no way. Being an amateur Bender I know to spot a more skilled Bender, who can entangle me with no way out.” The Dragon Lady steps into my sensory fields, captures my attention. “I like the name you gave me Bender, Dragon Lady.”

“He’s a Bender?” Love asks the Dragon Lady with disbelief. Love, now also looks like a dragon, a water lily dragon. “He looks nothing like a Bender to me.”

A Bender? What’s a Bender? Everything is going so fast. In a white flash, I remember the dream I had when waking to this present day, I was doing some stuff, can’t say what, in my dragon form, which felt very natural in the dream, but I forgot it as soon as I woke up. A second snap hits me that lately I've been looking for Dragon Folk. I’m on this journey to find the Green Dragon from the Valley of Fire, and no one knows what a fucking dragon is, except for that old man's voice who told me to look for Dragon Folk. These might be Dragon Folk. To think that I used the term Dragon Lady as a term of endearment, to describe a beautiful powerful lesbian woman. Another flash hits me...

“Is this a dream, are you Dragon Folk? You, Love? Is that your name? Are you a water dragon? And you, what’s your name? You’re the older one, no?"

Love snaps her fingers and breaks my stream-ing, for the second time now. “Breathe in.” She whispers and blows out a light purple wind soothing my entire body and bits of my mind. Taking me hit after hit into higher states of blissful unconsciousness, with fucking throbbing excitement.

“He seems to wake up now, Radiance.” Love says to the Dragon Lady.

“A bit too fast I’m afraid.” From behind her pinkblue sunglasses Radiance's smirk is eye-locked on my crotch. Love giggles, Radiance wets her lips.

“Follow us if you really think you can mess with us.” Radiance commands. I simply follow, like a dimwit. I have no idea if these are sex-workers, a lesbian couple looking for a threesome or Dragon Folk, I simply follow...because I think I can mess with them. Or is it because I hope that these are the Dragon Folk I’ve been looking for to pursue my quest?

They bring me to some luxurious penthouse overlooking the sunset about to swallow the City. We’re there drinking, chit-chatting, enjoying ourselves. At some point a feint thought enters my almost silenced mind now -what happened to my bike and clothes? It is past the first third of the night when I’m led through a maze of hallways with countless doors, each door has a magic sign and a name. They stop at a pink door, Radiance kisses Love on the lips, she squeezes her in a tight hug passionately, caressing and squeezing each other as the kiss seem to unlock a deep insatiable hunger that hangs over them, a deep secret, one I intend to uncover, even if I have no mind at all at this point. Radiance says goodbye and leaves as if they’ll never see each other again.

“Don’t worry, she’ll join us later, let’s start things nice and slow and look at that dragon of yours how well-behaved it is.” She gives me a moment to capture the sign, it says “Wild Phantasies” on the door. “You are a wild one, no?” says Love. She is definitely flirting with me at this point, I feel the vibe. We’re Vibing. “Open the door!” She snaps a third time, with her fingers, and now I’m all blank but somehow still in remote control.

As the palm of my head touches the doorknob, I’m brought to an instant edge, I almost kneel to it. I don’t because I want to walk through that door.

When I walked in the room, I knew there was no walking out.

Thus began the Story of Sir Thinksalot B.U.D. Head (Jr.) in his quest to find the Green Dragon from the Valley of Fire.
