There was only one rule: don’t open the door
Xander and Marty are trick or treating on Halloween night. The night is almost over when they realize they have not hit every house on Rachnid street.
“Heck yeah” Xander started. “We racked up this year with candy”. “Oh no doubt” Marty added. “But there’s one house left that we didn’t hit”. “Whatchu talkin’ about?” Marty asked. “We didn’t go to the last house on the right” Xander continued.
Marty looked at the house. It was white brick and had a dirty looking door. “Oh no” Marty uttered shakened. “That’s Pad Eight. No one ever goes to that place because it’s haunted.”
“Oh come on, you don’t actually believe that crap do you?” Xander joked. Marty stared at Xander with a blank stare. “Come on” Xander said while grabbing Marty by the shirt. “Uh, what are we doing?” Asked a scared Marty. “We’re going to the house” Xander replied excitedly. The boys arrived at the bottom of the house’s porch steps and slowly began walking upward.
“Xander what you doing?” Marty asked. “We’re just gonna pull the knob and see what happens” Xander replied. “X, this place creeps me out and that’s sayin somethin’ considering that I find haunted houses as first dates romantic”. “I’m just gonna turn the haunted knob once, just so we can tell everyone we did it and then we’re gone”. “Hurry up” Marty sighed.
Xander reached for the knob to give it a turn. Before he could touch the door it opened by itself. The boys the saw a shadowy figure in what looked like a coat, but stretch it arms to reveal it had eight legs. It was a giant spider. The duo screamed in unison as the spider charged for them.
