The power to heal sounds amazing on paper. Every action however, has an equal and opposite reaction. Sera was named after the seraphim. Celestial angels with six wings and some believe they have the power to cure all illnesses.

That is only half the truth as Sera would come to find out when her boyfriend and younger sister were out on a mountain climb.

Almost to the top, the trio were faced with hard gusts of wind. Sera's younger sister lost her footing on one gust and fell on a jagged rock below.

Rappelling swiftly down to her. Sera and her boyfriend were met with a horrific sight. Her younger sister was impaled through the heart by the jagged rock. She lay motionless on the mountainside.

Breaking down and holding her younger sister in her arms, Sera sobbed and cradled her body. Her boyfriend kneeled beside her holding her, "I am sorry Sera, I'd trade places with her if I could."

"Don't be stupid!" Sera yelled out as she grasped onto him to hold him close to her.

Sera held onto them both and continued to sob for what felt like eternity.

"Sera?" the voice rang out in her ears. It was the voice of her younger sister. Sera kept her eyes shut and heard it again. "Sera, what's going on?"

Opening her eyes, her younger sister lay in her arms looking up to her, her fatal wound gone and all the remained as evidence of it was the blood soaked clothing. Sera was confused. How was her sister alive, she seen her impaled by the jagged rock.

Feeling her her grip loosen on her boyfriend, she looked beside her to see a dried-husk of a man beside her. His body all but skin and bones.

What do you think? Is an ability that takes when it gives like this able to be used for good, or does using it make them a villain?
