Nanfoin's cane

LUNCH

By Sandra BongjohPublished 4 years ago 3 min read

It was noon. The cane knew that the children had not eaten yet and that they should

to be hungry. She led them to a restaurant where they will eat before leaving for

Mr Tunde. No one had seen the helicopter land. The cane had landed in a place

hid and had left the children there. She had given them a map of the restaurant where they

had to eat. The children had used the plan she had given them to go to the

restaurant. They had asked lots of people: "Hello Sir" where is the

restaurant Balafon"?

And the man answered them: "the restaurant is just there, two minutes from where we are".

The children walked and saw the famous restaurant which was in front of a church. They

ordered what they had to eat. The three had different dishes: Cédric had

ordered foofoo with vegetables and chicken, Eric had ordered gari with

okra sauce and finally John had ordered fat rice called "Jollof fried rice" at the

Nigeria. After eating, the three boys left for the starting place where the cane was. She

told them where Mr. Tunde's house was located.

She gave them instructions: "When you manage to get into Mr.

Tunde, you will see a genius: he will ask you questions. He will ask you: "What is the

password to enter Ndim's room". "You must answer "SORE". When

you will have answered the password, it will let you in.

All three tried to remember the password to enter. They did everything not to

forget it. When they arrived at the place, they managed to enter without anyone seeing them. They

saw a large door that gave access to Ndim's room. They knew it was

Ndim's room because the cane wrote on the plan of Mr. Tunde's house the number

from each door. The genie came out of the lock of the door and spoke to them: "Hello my dear

children, before entering this corridor I would like you to tell me what is the password?"

"Cédric and Eric had forgotten him. John was the only one who remembered him well because he had said

several times until they get to the door. He opened his mouth and said, "SORE". This is

as the genie opened them the door

They saw Ndim's room number and told him

why they were there. They told him to be careful and they left.

They wanted to go quietly but there was a noise echoing. Someone had seen them

going out with Ndim and wanted to prevent them from leaving. He had already pointed out the master. The

children ran as quickly as possible so as not to be caught. The cane was already the place. She transformed into a helicopter and quickly picked them up before Mr. Tunde and

his guard catches up with them and makes them all their slaves. The three children went home

them and took Ndim back to his mother. This one was happy. For two years, she had no

not seen his daughter. Her father was also happy to see her again. The children had told him everything that had happened. The cane had spoken to them too. The three sons said goodbye to Ndim in him

promising to visit him from time to time. They went home with the cane. They

were in the helicopter. They arrived home. Everything did as before, their grandfather was

woke up and didn't know his sons had gone to Nigeria. He was sound asleep

in a two-day sleep because of the cane. She had put him to sleep for two

days. Everything goes back to how it was before. Cédric, Eric, and John went back to their parents and sometimes

they visited their friend Ndim.
