My Future Is Written in the Comments of My Posts
An anonymous user keeps commenting on my posts predicting events before they happen. Now, I'm scared to post anything at all.

My Future Is Written in the Comments of My Posts
I always thought being a content creator would bring me brand deals, not bizarre premonitions.
I post like any other lifestyle blogger — cute outfits, iced coffee pics, gym check-ins, and the occasional deep caption about life. Nothing groundbreaking. Just vibes and filters. That is, until three weeks ago, when someone began commenting on my posts — and predicting my future.
It started harmlessly enough. On a lazy Sunday evening, I uploaded a dinner pic: a warm, homemade lasagna. A strange comment appeared beneath it from a user I didn’t recognize:
@EyesOpenWide: “Enjoy it. You’ll break your tooth tomorrow.”
I rolled my eyes. Another edgy troll looking for attention.
But the next morning, while eating toast, I crunched down on something hard. Pain shot through my mouth. My molar had cracked on a small stone baked into the bread.
Chills crawled up my spine.
Coincidence? Probably. But it didn’t stop there.
A few days later, I posted a mirror selfie holding my coffee cup before heading out.
@EyesOpenWide: “You won’t finish it. Someone’s about to crash into your car.”
I froze. But again — I laughed it off. Still, I felt uneasy the whole drive.
Then it happened.
A distracted teenager rear-ended me at a stop sign. Coffee exploded over my dashboard. Thankfully, no one was hurt. But my heart dropped when I remembered the comment. My hands shook for hours.
I started scrolling back through my older posts. The comments had always been there — I just hadn’t noticed them.
“Don’t wear that dress tonight. You’ll regret it.”
“Look left before crossing.”
Each one had lined up with something that had happened. That dress? I wore it to a party where I found out my boyfriend had cheated. The warning about crossing? I remembered a near miss with a speeding cyclist that same day.
The realization settled in like a cold fog:
This wasn’t random.
This was real.
I blocked @EyesOpenWide instantly.
For one blissful week, nothing happened. No comments. No accidents. No weird vibes. I felt almost normal again.
I even filmed a short TikTok explaining the “creepy fortune-teller account” — treating it like an urban legend. It went viral. Everyone thought it was a hoax.
I wish it was.
Because then the letters started coming.
No stamp. No handwriting. Just typed notes on printer paper, folded and slid under my door.
The first one read:
“I tried to help. Now I’ll have to show you why you should listen.”
The second one just had a date: August 3rd.
That’s today.
I didn’t sleep last night. I sat by my window, phone clutched in hand, waiting for something — anything — to happen. I didn’t post. I didn’t scroll. I didn’t even text anyone.
But at 7:46 AM, a new comment appeared.
“You can’t stop fate by going silent.”
I checked. The account was unblocked — or maybe it had never been blocked. It was like it existed outside the app.
I started sobbing. This was too much.
It’s 5:07 PM now.
The power just went out.
The only light in my room is from this laptop screen. My phone has no signal. I’m not sure if it’s a glitch or something more.
There’s a knock at the door.
Three. Slow. Knocks.
I’m not expecting anyone. I didn’t order food. I’m too afraid to move.
And then I hear it… a voice through the door:
“Post something. Let them know what happens next.”
I don’t know who they are. I don’t know what posting will do. But I feel like I’m being pushed to share this. Maybe it’s a warning. Maybe it’s a trap. But if you see this post, if this story finds you…
And if @EyesOpenWide starts commenting on your page —
Do not reply.
Do not ignore.
Do not post.
Because some people tell the future.
But others…
write it.
And your next post might be your last.
