Destiny's Pov

I woke up to my alarm blazing through the room. I shut my alarm off and went back to sleep again. Suddenly I remembered that I have an interview. I got up from my bed and went to my bathroom to get ready. I brushed my teeth and showered quickly. I got out of the room wearing the dress which was chosen by Ava yesterday.

At the kitchen counter I see a orange juice glass beside the plate and a sticky note near to it. And seeing that my stomach growls to it. I picked the note and read.

Destiny,

I know you are thinking why I was not there when you got up, so I changed the alarm so you can sleep a little more and get your mind relaxed. And I called our boss and took your day off today. And I wish you my luck doing great in your interview. Also I made the breakfast and had mine. So bye, love you.

I released a breath out and smiled at her caring self. I saw the time, it was 9 am. So I have fifty minutes still. I had my breakfast and went to the room to take my belongings with necessary documents. After checking that I have everything, I locked the door and went outside of my apartment.

I hailed a cab. It was a half an hour drive to there. I was getting nervous as I was getting near to the building. The cab came to a stop, I paid the driver and made by way to the tall building.

I saw a receptionist sitting there. She looked to be a middle age women. I made my way towards her and asked "Hello madam, I am here for the interview for assistant of CEO".

She looked up from what she was doing and smiled at me.

"Hello dear, yes you can go to elevator on the right side of yours. You can go on the 60th floor, there will a secretary to guide you. I hope you get the job, I wish you luck and your are very beautiful dear" she said still smiling.

I blushed at her comment and smiled shyly. "Thank you so much. I hope the same. And we can meet next time if I get the job" I said.

I waved at her and went towards the elevator. After getting into the elevator, I saw there were already few people there, I pressed to the 60th floor button and moved towards back. It was taking a long time, as it going up I was feeling more nervous because it was the first time I am getting interviewed at such a big company. I hope I don't make myself embarrassing in front of CEO.

'well all the best girl' my inner self said enthusiastically to me.

'where have you been till now' I asked

'I was having my beauty sleep unlike someone' she said

'Shut up'

People in front of me turned and looked at me like I was an alien.

'opps looks like you said it out loud' she laughed at me.

I put my head down covering my embarrassed flushed cheek from my hair and mumbled a sorry.

'Really girl it has not been 10 minutes into the building, you have already embarrassed yourself' still laughing at me she replied.

'will you please shut up, I am getting nervous here and you are making it more complicated to me' I replied back.

'As you wish, but I will come back.

I signed in relief as elevator door opened and people went out. I have five floor left to go still. After getting to the 60th floor, I stepped out of the elevator and looked around the surroundings.

The place was astonish. And a desk was there with a woman behind it. I went towards her. She was busy typing in her laptop that she didn't see me as I stood infront of her. I cleared my throat to catch her attention, she lifted her head up and looked surprised to see me.

"Hello, I am Destiny Sky Walker, I am here for interview for assistant of the CEO" I said giving her a small smile.

My smile faltered a little as I see that she is still surprised to see me here. I waved my right hand in front of her face and said 'hello'.

She came back to reality. Clearing her throat "Sorry for the inconvenience, I was just surprised to see your face and your politeness towards me. Because" she lifted her hand to cover the side of her mouth as if she was wanted to talk in secret, and she leaned towards me and talked in low voice "The ones who are attending the interview here are bitchy people. They didn't even glance my way at all and entered directly to the waiting hall like they rule this place. These people are very bad".

I laughed at her words and she joined me in laughing. After calming she said "I am Alexis, secretary for the CEO here" looking at her watch she continued "And you have reached at the exact time, the interview will start in few minutes. I will call your name when the time comes. Till then please be seated in the waiting hall. All the best from my side. And I hope you get the job, because I like your company and you are so sweet". I smiled at her and went to the waiting hall.

Alexis went to the room which was straight down the hall. As I looked across the room, I saw there were a maximum number of women's only.

No no scratch that.

There are only women. They all are wearing tight fitting skirts with tight fitting blouse. Even one of them wore a crop top to a skirt, and that top is barely covering her chest. I think how can they wear such a thing to the official places like this. I shaked my head at their attires.

Some of the women glanced at my way and gave a disgusted look towards me. Some whispered also. But I don't care, it's not like they are giving me the job away.

Alexis came out of the room, and stood at the middle and announced "Good morning everyone, so now the interview starts. I will be calling your names one by one. And you will be interviewed by the CEO only". By looking at the list in her hand she called "Olivia" a girl raised her hand. "You are the first one, you can go now".

After saying that Alexis went to her desk.

It's been an hour now, and still Alexis is calling names and sending them to the CEO room. I think there had been around 17-20 of them who came out of the office in flushed face either angered face, it was actually funny to see them like that. There are only two girls now, me and some other girl. I tried to talk to her but she just ignored me. And I kept quiet. Alexis called her name and she went inside. After few minutes she came out in anger and flushed face.

Alexis went inside the room, and came out calling my name and assured me to enter the room.

I was more nervous now. I brushed my hands on the dress to remove the sweat in it.

I let out a breath and knocked at the door but didn't hear anything. I waited for few seconds and knocked again. Again I didn't hear anything, so I turned the nob and went inside.

As I made my way inside the office room. I saw no one was there inside. I inspected the room. To my right there is a huge bookshelf with either side two small plant. And in front of me there is desk and a chair behind it with a coat draped over it. And two chairs in front of it. Behind the chair there is a glass walls, which have a beautiful view of the city. At my left, it is covered with glass walls, and a glass door to the balcony connected to it. In the balcony there is couch with small table in front of it. I peek around to see no one was around. So I went towards my left to glass window to see the view of the city.

All I could think was wow, it was a mesmerizing view. With tall buildings, roads, and people walking around. They seems to be looking like an ant from here.

I was so lost in the view that I was smiling to the view like a child got their candy. I was so lost in thought that, I didn't hear someone clearing their throat or coming and standing behind me with an arm distance.

Suddenly I felt someone behind me and I got tensed. And they clear their throat again, and this time I heared it. I slowly turned towards the person, but only to see a well built chest in front of me.

I was shocked seeing the naked person in front and started to scream.

But my scream came to a stop when that person's hand is pressed against my lips. And other hand came around my waist and pulled me towards him.

He was so close to me.

With my eyes wide due to the actions of this man. I lifted my head up to meet with the beautiful green eyes.
