Love is terrifying

By Bobi LarsonPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

"What do you think?" His hand stretched out toward mine, beckoning.

"We tried this before, you left me hanging and alone." My eyes wandered to the soft curve of his broad hand.

"Yes, and for that I will spend the rest of my life making it up to you." His deep brown eyes bore into mine, apologizing.

"I'm scared." I took a small step towards him.

"Amazing things can happen on the other side of fear," his voice hopeful, eyes alight with possibilities.

Holding my breath, eyes squeezed shut I stepped into him, his arms wrapping around me fiercely.
