Brigadier General Josephine Nakamora passed off on the helicopters flying at night.

“We’re not going to end up like the Army,” Captain Montrell Bervins announced as he started up the bird.

“No, we’re going to have everyone come out of this exercise okay,” First Lieutenant Pascal Muttin agreed.

The helicopter lifted with poetic precision. Nothing went wrong. Then a rotary blade malfunctioned and the helicopter came close to crashing. Instead of falling to the Earth, Muttin pulled up and the bird flew high. In the night with green night vision goggles looking like permanent lightning bugs, no one dared panic.
