Marine Corps Stories: I Wasn’t Worried

Out in the desert in Yuma, Arizona, I wasn’t worried about the snakes, spiders, or scorpions. I was more concerned with my fire.

“‘Now, that’s a fire’,” I said in my best Eddie Murphy voice. The flames dazzled against the dark blue sky dotted with stars. I had traveled with four other Marines. A female Devil sat in a chair.

She lifted her shirt, exposing her breasts.

“I give those titties two thumbs down. The milk has gone bad!” I said in the same way as Dave Chappelle acting as Rick James.

Her face darkened despite the fire. I walked.
