Issued from the typewriter came reports for the pilot’s flight hours. Private First Class Garner Jenkins looked at the white correction ink and applied it to one of his mistakes.

“No mistakes!” Gunnery Sergeant Destin Blanker shouted.

“Aye, Gunny!’ Jenkins said.

The PFC took his time to type up on the clunky machine. More errors.

“Push. You’re going to get these reports right somehow.”

The PFC started sweating now. He kept going to the extremes in order to make sure the reports looked perfect.

“Attention on deck!” Corporal Sandan announced as Captain Arielle Birx walked into the office.

“Carry on.”
