The Monday barracks cuts looked rather horrendous. Particularly given the fact that the Marines had been briefed on the idea of actually going to a professional who knew what they were doing. Some hairlines zagged, the fades were too high or uneven. It looked like a circus with these junior Marines showing up for work.

Sergeant Major Ames was especially displeased. “Leathernecks! It is a part of the grooming standard that you get your haircut at the base barbershop. If I see another jacked up cut, I’m personally going to shave you bald. Understood?”

“Yes, Sergeant Major!” The Marines shouted.
