Manifesting Shakespeare Through Monkeys
a stream of conscious drabble
Calling his penmanship poor was an insult to both pens and ships.
That fact usually had no bearing on his well being.
Today, it did.
No muse came forth, and he yearned to sit amongst the birdsong with a notebook and quill.
Yes…that was what his brain needed. Surrounded by beautiful inspiration, the words would flow unabated.
Alas, like the Library at Alexandria, the illegible scratches would end up in flames.
Light My Fire. Without birdsong, The Doors would suffice.
Play pushed, he typed, hoping a brain monkey possessed by Shakespeare could hammer out some meal from these mixed metaphors.
