"What happened?" "I was looking at myself in the mirror admiringly and Boom! Then incredible pain hit me all over my body, and debris was striking me, and then I woke up here, disoriented."
"There is someone here, that looks evil, and when I protest, saying, "Where am I?"
"Delighted to see you, I've been waiting for you for a long time!"

The Space Between Us
The first thing I noticed about the building was the silence. It stood in the middle of a crowded city block, surrounded by traffic, noise, and movement, yet inside its walls, people lived as strangers. Doors closed quickly. Eyes avoided contact. Everyone carried their own lives like heavy luggage, careful not to bump into anyone else.

This is great, Susan, an eternal cat-&-mouse game with the Devil himself. Totally plausible.
