Lucifer calls Home.
Jesu, the Devil and us. Shockwave.
Thunder roared and lightning split the sky. The phone line between Heaven and Hell is ringing.
Every time that it thunders and storms, it is the attempt by 'The Prince of Darkness', Lucifer, Beelzebub or whichever name you prefer, to make a phone call to Heaven. How the conversation goes, decides the severity of the ensuing weather phenomenon.
Mankind always pays the price.
Beyond the firmament, Jesu lets Michael or Gabriel handle the call. Today, however, the devil was adamant...he would only speak to the big man himself.
Fiery fingers of light split the air.
Dragging himself (for God is definitely a man, seriously...which woman would create men, let them think themselves superior in intellect and strength...AND, not let them be the bearer of children, varicose veins, and all the other idiosyncrasies of womanhood. Would we not reverse the role and do a much better job. I mean, all the wars, feminine wiles would win over all the dictators. Because we love them all so much...HA!)
Oh yes! Dragging himself away from watching and judging the human shenanigans everywhere, the Father, exasperated, pressed the speaker button.
"YES, MORNING STAR (Satan's heavenly nomenclature), what can I do for you. Be concise, I am very busy".
Lightning and thunder flashed dangerously down on Earth. People ran for cover.
"Well, finally'!!!
"I SAID MAKE IT QUICK"!...The sky rumbled.
"Ok, Geez. What are you so mad about...(seriously Lucifer)...Father, I want to return home. People on earth are not nice anymore, I can barely find any good ones, where is the joy and fun if I can't find anyone to corrupt"?
"HMMMM"!!!
There was an awful quiet upon the earth for a full minute. People thought they had all gone deaf. The Devil did not speak...he hoped for the best.
He hit the Hellphone speaker button.
"I completely see your point. I am also finding it very hard to locate kind and good souls among my billions of creations everywhere, not only on earth".
All of Hell paused for a few seconds. God had agreed with the Devil!!!

"Tell you what, call me back in one week. If we each can find 100,000 good souls, I will consider your request".
"BUT..."!!!
"BOOM. CLICK". God had hung up. The Devil pouted.
ONE WEEK LATER!!!
Thunder and lightning again flashed.
"Hello Light Bringer (fallen angel). What say you"?
"Hello Father, I could only find 10,000. I really tried".
"I believe you my son, I barely found 50,000 and some of them are iffy at best".
On the Heavenly console buttons: It Read...GOOD, EVIL, MAYBE, GIVE THIS ONE A SECOND CHANCE, THIS ONE HAS TO GO, FIERY CRASH, HIT BY LIGHTNING, DIE IN SLEEP and so many more...
God's hand hovered for a few poignant seconds. Damn it, he would have to start all over again. It was such a pain to keep doing this. The dinosaurs, the Great Flood, Pandemics all flashed across his mind.
"Sorry Lucifer, they leave me no choice".
"NOOOOOOOO"! Click!!!
TOTAL SILENCE!!!

Omg!!! Can you imagine if this conversation happened recently? I wouldn’t doubt it with the current state of affairs. praying that I was at least one of the 50,000 god found. I don’t trust the devil no matter what, lol.
Wondering if these conversations could really be happening once in a while. We are in the end times. A fiction story that could teach a few lessons on what faith is all about.
