A long time ago, God came to earth.
Wanting to observe the life of mortal humans, and by the way, to see if there is the kind of people they want to find, God came to the marketplace. Saw a beggar!
Beggar leaning in the corner of the bazaar, although the body is not disabled, the clothes are patches. Not washed clothes sent out the smell of mold, the passers-by look at him after having to speed up the steps to walk past, but no one dare to look at the beggar. The beggar's hand in the broken hat, messy with a few coins, should be the results of his day.
God slowly towards the beggar, the beggar of course also perceived the God in front of him. But the beggar still nestled in their corner, thinking, to me only two kinds of people.
One gives me money, and one does not give.
Also did not care too much about God, until God walked to the beggar slowly squatted down, and said: "Hello."
The beggar replied indifferently: "Mr. I am not good, I have not eaten for two days. Do good, give some money."
God just smiled and said, "I am not what sir, I have no money. But I am God."
The beggar looked suspiciously at the man in front of him and said, "God? Sir, I don't believe you. If you are God, then I am still the archangel!"
God thought about it and smiled and said, "I can let you choose one of love and bread! What you will choose, I will give you immediately. So that you believe that I am God."
The beggar surprisingly thought seriously and thought for a long time.
God asked suspiciously, "What's wrong?"
The beggar but discontented said, "Bread and love are not equal, you let me choose so?"
God looked at the discontented beggar more puzzled, and said: "Where is not equal?"
The beggar gestured and said, "I'm hungry, if I want love, then I and my love will be starved to death! I begged alone can hardly eat enough, two people how to live down? The bread I heard is a good thing, I have never eaten in my life, but if I want the bread, I eat, there is no ah."
Hearing the beggar's answer, God smiled: "There is no unfair ah, what you said are possible results. Death or taste, now all that is needed is just a choice."
The beggar hesitated and said, "I don't want love, I can't give my lover anything, I want bread!"
God gave the beggar bread as he wished! Beggar in the corner happy to eat bread.
The bread was delicious.
He felt that his choice was not wrong.
Thinking about his choice.
If I want love, I can't eat delicious bread.
God saw the beggar's inner thoughts, such an answer is not what God wants!
A few years later the beggar died in the winter. Is frozen to death, the beggar died when or alone.
No love, but once ate bread.
He also aspired to real love, but the bread is what he can feel delicious.
Still the bazaar.
God saw another commoner who was wandering around.
The commoner stopped in front of a fruit store and looked at the apples on the shelves, and the commoner felt his pockets as if looking for money in them. He found a hole in his pocket and the money was gone.
The civilian frantically came back on the road, looking for his money. But people come and go, and the chances of finding it are too small. Maybe the money was taken away by someone, but the civilians still desperately looked for it.
God came to the commoner.
The commoner saw God in front of him and could see that God was coming toward him.
The commoner thought that this man either knew where his money was or he did not.
When God walked up to the commoner.
The civilian spoke up: "Sir, have you seen my money? My pocket is broken and the money fell out of it and is gone."
The civilian was anxious and God smiled and said, "I am not a gentleman, I am God. I did not see your money fall there."
The civilian also laughed: "Sir, you say you are God. Don't joke, you are God than how you don't know that my money fell there!"
God said helplessly, "There are so many things I don't know about this world, too, if you don't believe I am God. I can let you choose the same between love and bread, and I will give you whatever you choose right away."
The commoner thought happily about his choice. And said with a big grin, "Although I have never eaten bread, I have also heard that bread is delicious. But if I asked for bread, I would not have it if I ate it. But if I have love, I can work with my lover to earn money and buy bread with the money I earn! Although hard both can get ah."
Despite the thought, the commoner still had no choice.
Until God asked rhetorically, "What's wrong? You have a good idea. Why do not go to choose."
Only then did the commoner slowly say, "I'm afraid I won't be able to stick to my choice, and I'm afraid my lover won't be able to work with me to earn money."
God smiled and said, "That's your choice, I can't help you choose. But I can promise to give you your choice."
The commoner thought for a long time and said, "I want to love."
God laughed and laughed a lot. He gave him a capable lover.
The civilian shook his lover's hand and went away happy!
Forgetting about his lost money.
God was happy for the commoner and satisfied with the answer. But it was not what God wanted either.
The civilian returned to his home, and the lover mended the torn pockets of the civilian's clothes.
Both the civilian and his lover worked very hard.
The civilian and his lover lived to the age of 63, died one after another, and the two were buried together.
They loved each other.
They also worked hard to eat bread.
Only, this bread was a whole year later than the one God had chosen for him. It was also divided into two halves, one for each person.
But the commoner still felt that the bread so obtained would be more delicious than the one God gave.
It was the same marketplace, and God saw the rich man in the store.
The rich man was smiling happily with the money in his hand.
God walked toward the rich man.
The rich man saw God, and he saw that the man who came to him was different.
The rich man said, "What can I do for you, sir?"
God smiled and said, "I am not a gentleman, I am God."
The rich man laughed and said, "I know, the customer is God."
God said, "I am the real God who can give you a choice between love and bread. What you will choose, I will give you immediately."
The rich man then laughed: "Sir the joke is too big, I have plenty of money to buy bread, I don't need it at all."
God laughed: "What about love?"
The rich man laughed even louder and said, "And love, no. A lover will surely kill me for my money, love is not reliable. Sir if you are God, I will tell you that I want neither."
God nodded his head in satisfaction.
At that moment.
A rascal rushed in, and the rascal heard the conversation between God and the rich man.
The rascal said excitedly: "God, he doesn't believe you. Since he doesn't want both, you should give me both of his. Me, I want both."
The rich man laughed, and God was indeed angry.
In the presence of the rich man. Turned the rogue into a bull and said to the bull, "Greed is no good."
The rogue was turned into a bull and became crazy because of greed.
He wanted to get the two things quickly. Surprisingly, he caused himself to lose so everything.
No love, no bread.
He was filled with anger at everything.
The rich man saw the power of God and believed in Him.
God was satisfied with the rich man's answer. The rich man did not believe in love, nor did he need bread.
God said to the rich man: "I am pleased with your words. Will you be my servant? You don't want love or bread, I'll make you my servant. Follow me for a thousand years, and after a thousand years, you will have eternal life. Then you can live forever on earth. Isn't that what you want?"
The rich man thought about it and promised God...
Became God's servant.
[A thousand years later]
God let the rich man go home as he wished, and the rich man was given eternal life.
But the rich man was very unhappy, although he lived forever and never died.
But because of the change of times, the rich man did not have the means and ability to make money in this era, and his previous money was long unusable, and he exchanged his watch and clothes in the pawnshop, but also let the rich man spend it quickly. The rich man became a civilian and later became a beggar. But eternal life lets he will not be starved to death, he is painfully alive in the world.
The rich man had no choice, and found the priest to explain his condition, and wanted the priest to tell God: "He is willing to use his eternal life for a chance to be a man again."
The priest brought God's words, "Say that God has not agreed that there can be only one life. God has decided to let you live forever, and that cannot be changed."
The rich man went away, taking with him the confusion of
The evil demon saw the rich man and
said to the rich man, "I can bring you back to life, but only with your heart!"
The doubtful rich man to be reborn. Agreed with the deal.
The devil gave the rich man a small, delicate knife.
The rich man dug out his own heart.
The demon tricked the rich man, and the rich man was left without his heart.
The eternal flesh turned cold and could only be warmed through the blood of others.
Became a vampire, a cold-blooded monster.
The rich man may have once had love and must have eaten bread. But more than the satisfaction, or the choice of satisfaction. Made him lose everything.
Even cheated.
No more love, and no more bread.
If you were to choose?
Love or bread?
