LIFE ON MARS

In life, it's not just a person, place, or thing; it's an occurrence where a bunch of events, all happening in a sequence, cause and effect, lead to results. Life, whether we want to admit it or not, is elusive. No matter how hard we try to pin it down, it escapes us in so many ways. Yet, as human beings, we still try to study it, hoping that if we capture different aspects of it, we will finally understand what life is and, by doing so, what life really means. This has been humanity's pursuit for as long as we have been conscious of ourselves as truly sentient beings.

We have filled the Earth with our instruments, wonders of measurement, technology, and various ways of studying who we are, life, and how we got here—our origins. But beyond just anthropological studies on Earth, we have taken to the sky and into the stars, all in pursuit of the answer to the question: What is life? Some people believe that we have already found the answer, while others think that the answer to who we are and what life is may be rooted in the exploration of space. Some believe we are either from some place beyond Earth or a derivative of another species from elsewhere. These thoughts, ponderings, theories, and conspiracies are not without some standing. For example, a CIA remote viewing program reportedly discovered an ancient civilization on Mars.

The search for life beyond Earth has been a cornerstone of modern thought as humanity has become more enlightened and curious. This quest for more like us has taken us throughout the Earth and even off the planet. One government agency that has been intrigued by this search is the CIA. The CIA is an operative organization that deals with uncovering information. Some of what is learned is documented and given to the public on a need-to-know basis. As early as the 1950s, the CIA conducted massive experiments in search of information about who we are and what life is. These experiments involved understanding the human psyche and included techniques and drugs used to produce results.

Specifically, there was a program called Stargate that focused on subjects' abilities to astral project and perform remote viewing—perceiving and literally placing the mind and body anywhere, including other planets. Surprisingly, some imagery and details from these mind-body experiences of astral projection and remote viewing have been confirmed.

Let’s talk about Stargate. Although there were numerous programs and groups focused on astral projecting and remote viewing during the Cold War, one report from a Stargate program member, Joseph McMoneagle, in 1984 stands out. McMoneagle was part of an important group of remote viewers for the CIA. He was able to perceive specific details during a remote viewing of a nuclear submarine being constructed, simply from the coordinates given to him. In 1984, McMoneagle was asked to take on another mission of remote viewing with very specific coordinates. He found himself astral projecting to an extremely unfamiliar and otherworldly locale. His experience was cataloged and taken from a now-released CIA transcript.

What he saw and experienced could be considered astonishing. In McMoneagle’s viewing, he perceived a world inhabited by an advanced civilization that was, at the moment, apocalyptically failing. He described ruins, channels, and pyramids. McMoneagle’s experience engulfed him with a sense of wonder as he was transported to witness wondrous sights. During his remote viewing and astral projection, McMoneagle reports contact with other entities and beings. He was asked by his handler to communicate with these entities and learned that they had been sent on a mission to find another place to inhabit because of the dire situation of their own world. These entities were in a state of hibernation, awaiting the return of the party that was sent out. When McMoneagle returned from the astral projection, he discovered that his handler had directed him through coordinates supposedly to Mars, approximately 1 million years BC.

Now, let’s discuss the accuracy of remote viewing. This should not be undervalued. Many have dismissed Stargate as a conspiracy theory or as military tactics to divert Soviet intelligence during the Cold War. However, many members of the Stargate program are willing to discuss their experiences, and some even report that they still practice astral projection and remote viewing today. Additionally, there are other declassified CIA documents with operatives focusing on different locales for military purposes. These transcripts and reports consistently conclude that there is significant accuracy in astral projection and remote viewing.

From what we can take away from the CIA's use of astral projection, the search for who we are and what life is is not limited to external terrains. Rather, the field of study has internalized and mobilized a search into the existential nuances of the human mind and psyche. It must go without saying that the human mind is a very important factor in our existence. It is what sets humanity apart from other creatures, animals, and species that we know of. If the human mind is indeed the difference, then maybe it is also the key to unlocking some of the mysteries of our origin, what lies beyond the sky, and among the stars.

Talking about astral projection or remote viewing is something discussed a lot in Eastern philosophy. Monks and enlightened individuals describe these as skill sets or innate abilities that all humans once had before becoming diluted by the world. These abilities could very well be the next step.
