The well whispered to her longing heart, he will come again.

Another week has passed by, another winter storm approaches the city where he lives with his family now.

She is also busy with her own family, work and friends. The well continues to whisper promises of his return. She can't help but feel a sense of emptiness at the prospect of not seeing him again.

As she makes her way to the well, she recalls all the happy moments they shared there and how their friendship slowly turned into something more.

She sadly removes the old, wilted flowers from the well and replaces them with fresh ones.

As she does so, she makes a promise to herself that she will be there when he returns, waiting for him with open arms.

But then one day, he stopped coming and she never saw him again.

She thought she'd never feel anything for anyone again.

Five years had passed and he still couldn't find it in his heart to forget her entirely.

He moved on but never truly let go of the memory of her.

One day, out of curiosity, he googled her name and found her picture standing close to a guy.

Heartbroken, he reached out to her one last time but never received a response.

He was heartbroken but couldn't help but feel a sense of relief that she was finally happy.

As the last petal falls from his hand, he whispered to himself "I wish you were mine."

One week later, he found out his father had a heart attack and needed surgery.

He flew back to the city where they first grew close.

Although he was busy with his father in the hospital, he made a point to visit the well every day.

He would sit there for hours, just waiting. Hoping she would come back to him.

While waiting for news of his father's surgery, he walked past the well and saw her there.

They looked at each other for a moment before she ran away in tears.

He followed her and asked if she was okay to which she responded, "I'm fine."

He thanked God for giving him the chance to reunite with his best friend again.

She cried into his arms as he held onto her tightly.

He said to her, I'm happy to know that you found someone in life.

She smiled and replied: Who?

He said: I saw on your fb profile. You are taken now. I saw the guy next to you.

She looked at him in disbelief and said, "You're the one who took off without a word. I thought you didn't care about me."

He said: I thought you didn't care about me.

She said: I always cared about you and never stopped loving you. Btw, which guy are you talking about?

He pointed to the guy next to her in the picture and she was shocked.

She said: That's my brother.

He said: Your brother?

She looked at him and said, "That's why you never responded to me?"

They both laughed as he held her close again.

They looked at each other in disbelief before he pulled her into a hug and they both cried tears of happiness.

A few hours later, his father woke up from surgery and made a full recovery. She went to met his father with his best friend forever.

Fate brought them closer again.

One year later, they walked down the aisle and got married.

Their love story was a tale of two best friends who lost each other but found each other again.

They lived happily ever after as one family.
