"Happy birthday to youuuu! Make a wish!"

I wish I were the most knowledgeable person in the world, I thought, so I could finally ace my LSATs.

I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, then blew out the twenty-five candles on my first try. My friends and family cheered then cake and ice cream were served.

"Are you coming to Club Georgio tonight so I can buy you a drink for your birthday?" my friend Monica asked later that evening.

"No," I replied, staring at my LSAT prep books, notes, and practice test. "I need to study. I need to pass this time."

"Girl! You owe me a night out next time!" I smiled.

"You got it, Mon. Go have fun."

"Love you!" We hung up and I stared at the case studies and my notes, until my eyes grew gritty. I rested my head on my arm, intending to take a short break, but woke with a start as the daylight sifted through a slit in my curtains.

A piece of paper stuck to my forehead fluttered down to my desk and information flooded my head so quickly, I felt like the Math Lady meme. I glanced at a case and knew all the facts. Confused, and with a massive headache forming behind my eyes, I flipped to a random case and all of the facts came to the surface.

I grabbed my phone, wanting to call Monica, and saw an AMBER Alert. I immediately knew who the kidnapper was and where. I shook my head but contacted the police.

They followed up on the tip, rescued the little girl, then came knocking on my door. I spent the next two hours trying to explain my new power. Eventually, they believed me and let me go.
