Rachel was a very kind lady. She helped whenever she can .
“ Rachel, we don’t need your help. You are so fake. Just go away !”
“ You are trying to be a goody, two shoes!”
Not many people like Rachel, they cannot believe someone like her exist.
The day came when, Rachel needed help herself.
“ You don’t need any help, you got a good life going for you.”
“ Stop pretending you are helpless.”
Rachel always show a strong front even when she is in pain.
You cannot tell when she is in pain, cause she does not want to be burdensome to anybody.
Until, her true love appear in her life. She was accepted for whatever she was.

Mariann, this was an intriguing read! I wonder if this would make a good prologue for a bigger story?
The comments we make reveal more about ourselves to others that the ones upon whom we comment. But they can also do irreparable harm to the targets of our comments--or provide healing. Let us measure our words carefully, mindful of their possible effect. Let us treasure & embrace being "woke" to others & being known for how much we care.
True Givers in society exposes the insecurities of others, hence the hostility they receive. And yet, those hostile people will clamour for the attentions of a Giver when they are in need of aid. It's tragic and can put people off from giving anything at all. Well done.
This is a good story that really makes you think. Well done, Mariann!
Great story. We tend not to recognize goodness and treat the person well. It might be why so many people are afraid of helping others.
❤️Dear Rachel, Nice story!
