A Dangerous Mission! Journey to the Storm Village

By Shawn carter Published 4 years ago 6 min read

With construction in the villages coming to a close, Livi calls for another meeting with his sisters to discuss their next move in regards to this mysterious new Storm village. Knowing their villages will be fine without them there this time, they decided to meet in the chambers. It would be here they write their own note for this unknown wannabe. The notes they each received were anonymous, so they chose to put "Sincerely, the Leaders."

As Livi sealed the envelope Kyrian exclaimed, "He must not know who we are!" Walking around the room holding the envelope tight, "I actually believe he does and that is the reason he is targeting us and our villages," says Livi. He goes on to say, "We don't know who they are but they must know a great amount about us already. Therefore, we make them show face! We make this coward face us!" Usually the more vocal Kyoryokuna would show her enthusiasm for such a thought, but she sits in stillness before she says, "What if it's a trap? What if this is what they want? Invade while we are away? What if---," Livi and Kyrian cuts her off. In unison they say, "No what ifs we are doing this Kyoryokuna!" Stunned by their determination, something she hasn't physically seen from her siblings in so long, she snaps out of it. "You're right," were the only words that spilled from her mouth as many profanities spewed from theirs. After a hard scalding from her siblings, Kyoryokuna, Livi, and Kyrian settle on a date to head to the Storm Village.

As the day approaches for the three to take off, they receive word that three children have been abducted by an unusual man. In addition to the news in the mail lied another note with the same stamp. It reads, "In due time." With these chain of events, the three swiftly depart earlier than expected.

"Livi, it's getting dark now. Maybe we should set up camp? You know we're approaching the borders of Soul Taker right?" Kyoryokuna tirelessly asks. Both sisters now dragging behind him, he loudly proclaims, "If you must stop, I will not wait for you," just slightly looking over his shoulders to see his sisters trying to catch up. "Someone's hell bent," fires off Kyrian, "...none of us are on the best of terms with Dansei you know if she feels us here she'll try to sic her beasts upon us." "And they will die. Or is it because she still intimidates you Kyrian? As of right now, she too has a new enemy to worry about. Understand?" "Hey guys enough, we'll keep up. For fucks sake take the stick out your ass Livi," Kyoryokuna snaps. Annoyed, all three pursue through the night.

As the sun rays beam down to the shore, in view atop this hill they seen what looked to be this Storm village. "This must be it," they all say. "Doesn't really look like much if you ask me," as Kyrian says scratching her head. "Uhh and whoever is 'leader' of this is after us?" asks Kyoryokuna. "I guess so but keep your guards up. Never underestimate your enemies remember," says Livi his eyes not wavering from the sight of the village. Now they hastily made way to deliver their note in person.

Upon arrival to the front entrance they are 'greeted' with stares. You could hear the whispers grow throughout the village. "GO BACK TO WHICH YOU HAVE CAME FROM!" "WE DON'T WANT YOU HERE!" "EVIL WALKS AMONGST US!" Just a few of the things heard shouted towards the siblings. Some even came up to them and spat at their feet. Despise the hateful treatment received Livi clears his throat, "Where is---," but was abruptly interrupted by his sisters. "You don't feel that brother?" "What?" he says. "There is barely energy here, I only sense a small amount yet from where is hard to pin point." Kyoryokuna says. "THE CHILDREN!" exclaims Kyrian. "Fuck, that's right. Where are the children?! Where are they?!?" he demands the villagers to answer. Still disgruntled with their arrival, a man comes forth and says, "We don't have to tell you SHIT. He said you'd come searching for yours. He sure was right, wasn't expecting you this soon. However,---" Kyoryokuna viciously slaps the man, "Listen here, we've come a long and far way as you must know. Whoever the man is giving you orders, let him know we are here and we want the children NOW!" The man looked as if he wanted to cry. "DO YOU NOT HEAR ME?!?!" barked Kyoryokuna. Quietly, a woman in the back goes, "H-h-he's not here, he left out this morning." "Did he give reason to any of you," asked Kyrian. They all shook their heads in disagreement. "Ah, did he take the children with him," Kyoryokuna says with frustration. "We don't know. You can try his home." the man says still holding his face from Kyoryokuna's hard slap. "Take us to it immediately," says Livi. Murmurs throughout the crowd intensify as they proceed through the waves of people. Kyrian whispers to Livi, "Brother, are they normal?" "Normal? What do you mean?" he asks. She says, "They don't seem to have power or else they would have challenged us. What does this man plan to do with THEM in order to come after US?" Her words now echo in Livi's ears as his eyes fell upon the mysterious leader's home. "Be careful, none of us are allowed in there, and he won't say why," said the man as he began to walk away. "Let's go you guys. We have to find them, we don't know what he could be using them for," declares Kyoryokuna.

When they enter the home they're met with a bitter smell. "Someone needs to clean up," Kyrian said gagging. "Spilt up and look for them," ordered Livi, "I'll go upstairs, you two search high and low down here." About fifteen minutes pass and then Kyrian hears, "Someone help us!" She calls out for both siblings and they came as fast as they could. "I can feel them. They're behind this wall," she said. "Can you hear me!?" she says loudly awaiting a response. "Hello, children can you hear me?!" This time hearing more voices, "Yes, yes we can hear you," they reply. "How do we get you out of there? Do you know," asks Kyoryokuna. "No, he's had us blindfolded for days," they say. "It only sounds like two kids in there," Livi points out, "...they said he took three." "Stand back okay," Kyrian shouts.

"Guys, combination breakthrough on three! ONE, TWO, THREE!" With no regards to this man's home, the three blasted a hole through the hollow wall in order to get to the children. Panicked, they ran out into their arms. "Are either of you hurt? What has he done to you? Where's the other one?" Livi asked. Just as his words exited his lips, "You looking for me?" a voice says. Turning to see this young boy all of eleven or maybe twelve. Kyrian runs over to see if he's alright, but he swats her hand. "Little boy how dare you disrespect your Queen---," she began. "YOU are NOT my Queen, in fact neither of you are and you aren't my Kyng either," the boys hissed. "Now, now, it looks like you've been the disrespectful ones. I mean look at the place. Was that necessary?" Kyrian lunges at him but Livi grabs her to hold her back. "I don't know what's going on but come back with us son," says Livi still struggling to hold his younger sister. "Kyrian chill out! Look all of you guys can come home with us, we are so sorry this even happened to you. We are seeking out the one who is responsible," explains Kyoryokuna. The boy states, "I am not going anywhere with you," such an ominous smile on his face, "...we will all meet soon enough. My master is one hundred times that of you three!" "Leo please come home with us," the two children plead. "You two are pitiful, how can you expect to be a leader acting like this!! Did you not hear Master Khuda?! We are stronger than them," Leo says confidently.

Each sibling now eyeing each other, "So that's what this is? He's stealing from our villages to create an army for himself? Well, that's quite alright," says Livi, "...how about this, Leo, you give this here to your dear Master Khuda. And we will be on our way." Leo scoffed and boasted, "He doesn't care about your threats. We will destroy all the villages in the land!" Livi hands over their note with a firm grip, he smiles at Leo and bends downs, "They are not threats, they are solemn promises. We look forward to meeting your Master. Bye now."
