Its Time to Go!

The outside world was unknown to her, but she could see a glimpse of it through the window in his room. They hadn’t been out of that room for years, only opening the door for mail ordered food.

After their child James, had fallen ill with Scarlet Fever, and passed away at the age of seven years old, Mike and Jennifer never left that room! They couldn't bear the outside world since they lost James. They were in a constant state of mourning. As the years passed and the house weathered over the years they remained in that room. Interacting with other people was not in the cards, as they are grief stricken so much to even carry on a conversation. The grief and their mental state was deteriorating quickly! They just were not able to take this grief any longer.

As Mike and Jennifer contemplated suicide after so many years of mourning and were never able to move on. They put their revolvers to their temples they stop to remember their life together with James as a happy family. They remember their wedding and all the good time they used to have. Then, with the guns still to their heads.... something happened.

A sharp breeze blew through the room and suddenly, there was a dust devil, from the unkept room's mantle. Appearing from this dust devil... an angel. She appeared, and placed her hands on their shoulders which were now heaving as tears ran down their face.

Oh My God! they have heard our prayers exclaimed Mike and Jenny! The Angel exclaims, that she was sent here by the Lord. He wants to remove your grief, he wants to ease your pain of mourning! Come with me and let the Lord heal your spirit!

Mike and Jenny were elated with the thought of leaving this cruel world that left them empty and suffering. They wanted to dance in the streets to celebrate this amazing event that is taking place. As they head for the outside door... The Angel, in hast, says: You must not go to the outside!! You must come with me. The Lord has asked me to come to this room and bring you both immediately to the throne! For, you will have everlasting life with your son James again, but you both must leave this world and come with me, you must leave this world of pain, despair, and suffering!

Mike and Jennifer cannot believe what they are hearing... Everlasting life and seeing the lord on the throne AND to be rejoined with your son James. Our Prayers have been answered. Jennifer and Mike embrace in an extended hug that lasted for some time and rejoice in their answered prayers.

Jennifer and Mike were not over religious, but they did pray when the lost James it was their only explanation, for losing James at such a young age. At times they even cursed the Lord for taking their son!

So, Why, now after 7 years have passed, that you are here to save us! Why save us now!

The Angel squeezed our shoulders with her hands and said: I don't have that answer. For, it is the Lord who shall judge the both of you not I! But, The Lord has his plans. Those Plans are not to be questioned. For it is for the good of all people. As you mourned the loss of your son, he watched. He felt your tears and could not bear watch you mourn any longer. Therefore, as your Angel I am to bring you to him. Rejoice in his presence and be free of you pain and suffering.

So, I am here to let you know that its ok to pull those triggers... Its time to go!
