Can walls talk ?

By Timuçin ŞenPublished 3 years ago 3 min read

If walls could talk, the wall of the old mansion on the outskirts of town would have a lifetime of secrets to reveal. It had stood there for centuries, watching over the sprawling estate and the families who had lived within its walls. And it had seen more than its fair share of scandal and tragedy.

The wall had seen the rise and fall of many families, but the most notorious of them all were the Harringtons. They had lived in the mansion for generations, and the wall had seen it all. It had seen the way the family had grown rich and powerful, and the way they had used their wealth to manipulate and control those around them.

It had seen the way the family patriarch, Reginald Harrington, had become increasingly paranoid and reclusive in his later years. And it had seen the way his wife, Margaret, had tried to hold the family together even as it crumbled around her.

But the wall had also seen the dark secrets that the Harringtons had hidden from the world. It had seen the way that Reginald had become obsessed with his family's legacy, going to great lengths to ensure that his name would live on for generations to come. And it had seen the way that Margaret had turned a blind eye to her husband's dark deeds, choosing to ignore the truth rather than face the consequences.

As the years went by, the Harringtons became more and more reclusive, and the wall saw less and less of them. But it continued to bear witness to the secrets that they kept hidden from the world.

Then, one day, the Harringtons vanished without a trace. The wall watched as the mansion fell into disrepair, and the once-grand estate became overgrown with weeds and brambles. But even as the years passed, the wall never forgot the stories of the family who had once called it home.

And then, one day, a new family moved in. They were young and vibrant, full of life and energy. And the wall could sense that they were different from the Harringtons in every way.

The new family set to work restoring the mansion, and the wall watched as they transformed it into a beautiful, welcoming home. They filled it with laughter and light, and the wall felt as if it was finally coming back to life.

And then, one day, something remarkable happened. The wall spoke.

At first, the family was startled. They had never heard a wall speak before. But as the wall continued to talk, they realized that it was trying to tell them something.

It spoke of the Harringtons and the dark secrets that they had kept hidden for so long. It spoke of the way that the mansion had become a prison for the family, and the way that they had lost touch with the world around them.

And then, it spoke of the way that the new family had brought the mansion back to life, filling it with love and light. It spoke of the way that they had broken the curse of the Harringtons, and brought a new era of hope to the old estate.

As the family listened to the wall's stories, they felt a sense of awe and wonder. They had always known that the mansion had a rich history, but they had never imagined that the wall itself could speak.

And as they continued to listen, they realized that the wall had become more than just a part of the mansion. It had become a symbol of the family's resilience and strength, a reminder of all that they had overcome in their quest to create a new and better future.

For the wall, too, had been given a second chance. It had been brought back to life by the new family, and it was determined to make the most of it. And as it watched over the mansion, it knew
