The first time I saw the cicadas, my mother took me to Changzhou, a beautiful city.

The first time I entered Changzhou, my God, the street lamp carved dinosaurs, grass "standing" dinosaurs, even the theater wall also painted dinosaurs, really worthy of the "Dragon City" ah! But I didn't come here for tourism, but to participate in the "3rd Children's Poetry in the Heart of the Children's Poetry Society Outstanding Works Singing".

We were sweating and walking "hard" to the theater, and when we opened the door, a cool breeze hit us, and the fatigue of the journey was instantly extinguished.

My task now is to wait for the rehearsal, when the simulation on stage to receive the award, although the audience is not much, I still as a rabbit in my arms, my heart seems to jump out of my throat, back also pastes a thin layer of cold sweat, but we quickly adapt. From 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., we all practiced well and we are looking forward to tomorrow's performance.

"The alarm clock opened its voice and urged me to get up. ----- I lifted the blanket, put on my clothes, gobbled up my breakfast, and went to the theater in a flash. After our last rehearsal, we sat in the audience with great anticipation, waiting for the performance to begin.

Finally, the exciting moment arrived, the host announced the official start of the performance. At once, the colorful magnesium lights were thrown onto the stage in response to the sound, looking particularly dazzling. A handsome child and an uncle in police uniform recited the award-winning poem "If My Dad Wasn't a Policeman" to us, and all of a sudden, the whole audience thundered with applause.

The show slowly reached its climax, and the one that impressed me the most was "The Swimming Sun". On the screen appeared a yellow cartoon image of the sun, it fluttered into the sea, a moment to swim to the east, a moment to swim to the west. "------ sky mother angry, let the sun do not go home one day, angry sun face is red and round, bigger and bigger, but also hold a full force, leap up to the ground so high and high ------" two children recited with emotion so that we can not help but laugh.

It was not long before the long-awaited award ceremony began. I stood on the stage with the winning children excitedly, holding the exquisite certificates in my hands and feeling sweet. Time passed and the show ended with a beautiful dance.

As night fell and the lights came on, we arrived at Changzhou Longhutang Experimental Primary School with laughter and joy, and I took two steps into the lecture hall to wait for the upcoming "Summer Camp ------". Before the event started, two teachers gave us an appreciation of the famous Northern Song Dynasty writer Zhou Dunyi's "Love Lotus", and at the beginning of 19:00, the long-awaited poet experts finally arrived.

One by one, they talked to us about poetry writing techniques in a colorful way. Among them, the most interesting one to me was Grandpa Sun Youtian's expression of poetry. Hey, I'll tell you a secret, the article "Open the Green Nature's Textbook" in the fourth lesson of the first book of the fifth grade of the Su Education Edition was written by Grandpa Sun! He said, for example, if I ask you, what does the snow become when it melts? Most of you will say water, but if you think about it, it will become spring. If you see a conch shell on the beach, what will be in the shell? You may say it's sand, but think about it again, isn't there an ocean in the shell? So when you write a poem, you should not only look at the surface of things, but you should experience it with your heart. One second, the lecture hall was silent, the next second the lecture hall was thundering with applause, and we were suddenly enlightened as if the clouds had been turned into the sun.

As the sun set and the moon rose, the day passed quietly. On the third morning, the sun was shining and I arrived at the place of my dreams - the dinosaur park. Pushing open the door of the dinosaur museum, Oh, dear! In the cool, airy hall stood a three to four-meter-high dinosaur skeleton, it was spectacular! I felt like I had traveled through a time warp, with flat trilobite fossils, stump-like dinosaur tail bones, and oddly shaped fish and shrimp - what an eye-opener.

This event was a meaningful "date" that gave me a colorful summer day and a chance to experience the charm of poetry.
