“We’re not here to save the whales. We’re here to make money. And we’re going to do that by preserving the beaches for people. As we all know, November is part of the off season for us down here in Bethany. So I implore you to donate. Thank you,” Ross Bowerton talked into the mic.

The wind whipped up and he pulled his jacket closer.

The dollars according to the digital bank account showed that he had inspired people to drop a few dollars in the collection plate.

“All of this is for the owners who populate this beach town."
