From Environment Canada:
Hot and humid weather will continue for the next week. Maximum temperatures will reach 40 to 45 degrees Celsius. Nights will also be quite muggy and uncomfortable.
You are advised to go to cooling stations around the city, including that café with that really cool barista who always gives you free refills when you bring in a dirty cup. Also, popsicles and beer have become tax-deductible with receipts.
You should also consider taking some actual vacation time and staying in touch with your family to see that everyone is okay. Your mom really does worry about you.
