"I played 'The HERO'?"
"C'mon, Mam... I just saved you from a great blood loss!?"
Hamza exchanged an almost annoying and shocking look with her.
"But, I had the gauze this whole time... Ok, whatever, Thank you 'DOC' for your help."
"I'm not a DOC!"
"But, that's exactly what you told me when I asked who you are...."
"Hamza...."
"Hamza is my name..."
"Hamza, whatever! I don't think I'll have to remember it for future."
"Excuse me, Mam! Don't you think you're being mean PLUS rude to someone who just ripped his new shirt off to stop your bleeding...!"
It's Just because It gets on my head and I can't stand it whenever I see FLIRTS like you!
"Hah!"
Hamza smirked, and let out a dry, mocking chuckle.
"FLIRT? REALLY? Ha! Now, this is getting real, mam! "
"Actually, I think we've done enough Chit-Chat, and I don't plan on having a one-on-one discussion with you right now... You helped me. Thank you for that. Now, I can take care of it. You can LEAVE."
Hamza felt so discouraged. Or maybe INSULTED! He only tried to help and that girl was being mean for no reason.
"Sure, next time I won't bother to help a girl crying for HELP!"
The whole time in the train both exchanged disgusted looks with each other.
When the train stopped, Hamza rushed out and started looking for a Taxi. As the front part of his shirt was ripped off, he covered his belly with his bag the whole time.
"That CRAZY mean girl! She ruined it all. It was my new shirt and now how am I gonna partake in the interview? With this worn-out piece, showcasing my unbalanced abs?"
It had hardly been 5 minutes since he got out of the train, when suddenly, with his eyes open he remembered something.
"WAITTTTTTTT! My Blazer? Holy cow!"
His blazer had his wallet and his Identity Card that was needed for the Job Interview.
"No, Noo! I thrusted my blazer into her hands, unknowingly and I didn't take it back. That GIRL!.... I don't have a single penny; It's all in the wallet. I want my wallet! SHIT."
Before he could think of something to get his blazer back from the girl, he heard the Whoooosh of the train that started it's engine right behind him. He started running toward the train to get his blazer back from the girl.
"Stop the Trainnn!"
"Hey, hey! Wait for me... Wait for me. A girl has my blazer. Please, stop the train."
But, the train was too fast for hamza to get inside. When it got completely out of sight, he stopped, his heart panting so loud, his lips dried out, dehydrated badly.
"Shit! Why did I even help that girl. This city is full of assholes! Why did I even come here..."
Hamza got frustrated and felt hopeless. His wallet had everything he needed for this big city of Karachi. Where there wasn't a single person he knew. His phone was also in that blazer. He was literally LOST in that huge city with traffic honks and blast of people everywhere.
Hopeless and sad Hamza went to the nearby bench on the platform to sit and catch his breath before figuring out what to do next.
He went to the nearby shop to ask for water but the refused saying that they don't have tap water, if he needs, he shall buy a bottle of it. Hamza was so thirsty, as it was peak of summer, he was drenched in sweat and his lips totally dried.
He went back to the bench and threw himself on it. He thought he should probably go to the police station to report for his wallet and blazer but the station too was about an hour away and he didn't have any money to book a ride there. He realized how he screwed everything before it even got started.
"A bunch of jerks! Everyone!"
"Water?"
He turned his neck and saw a hand offering a water bottle to him.
Seeing water, he didn't even fully turn. He snatched the bottle and started drinking it—gulping it. He finished the bottle in less than 15 seconds and wiped out his lips.
"Aaahhhh! Water never felt this GOOD before. Thanks dea............"
As he shifted his eyes to look at the person who gave him water, he saw that the same girl—The girl from the train was sitting there, with a smile on her face.
"Hey, You! Give me my blazer back. Ahh... Thank God you're here. I thought you left with the train. Give it back to me NOW."
"Actually, I thought I might have misbehaved with you on the train. I'm really sorry for that. Please, forgive me, I realized that you were just trying to help, and I said you words I shouldn't have."
Hamza could see the sincerity in her eyes.
"Oh, It's ok. It's ok... I think I got angry for no reason. You were hurt and when it pains you forget what you're saying. You no longer have control on your thoughts. But, I'm really glad you have a good heart to apologize."
"Thank you. You're so sweet."
"Sweet?"
Hamza's cheeks blushed and he got shy on hearing that. He had never felt anything similar since her mom left. It wasn't something he sad heard in quite a long time. He had only been angry and frustrated with himself. Always sad and screwed.
"Thank you for the water. I'm glad I could help you. How's your foot feeling now?"
"It's so much better. Thank you, really. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have been sitting here comfortably."
"Oh... Now, you're just honoring me too much. I'm glad your foot is better now. And, I almost forgot, please can I have my blazer back now?"
"Your Blazer? I don't have that! When you threw it on me, unconsciously, I put it aside, on the floor."
"WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????"

Great storytelling! The twist was unexpected.
Hamza needs to quit while he is ahead. The girl seems like trouble to me, but now he has a new set of problems. Very nice twisting and turning.
Haha, that part is really funny! 😂🤣 Why is Hamza's life filled with only problems? 😃 And why was that girl treating him like that before? She came to say sorry, but I thought she was returning his blazer! Instead, she brought him another problem lol! 😂🤣 Great work! I'm curious to see the next one! 👏😊
Omgggg, what a roller coaster of events hahahahahahaha. She was so rude to him, then he lost his blazer with her, then she seemed to come back, but didn't have his blazer???? Hahahahahahahaha poor Hamza! Gosh I wonder what is he gonna do next
Well, crude, he just gets deeper and deeper in the muck don't he?
This was such a fun read. Hamza’s frustration, the banter, and that unexpected twist with the blazer had me hooked. so nice
Interesting story with a good cliffhanger. I hope Hamza gets his blazer back.
