Elon held the chip between his forefinger and thumb.

“You are sure that these can now be inserted via automated surgery?” he asked the Neuralink technician.

The technician nodded.

“And no need to remove part of the skull anymore?”

“Correct.”

“Excellent. Ramp up production immediately.”

“Are you worried about the FDA—”

“You leave the FDA to me. You get this ready for the over a thousand patients who will be looking for it in 2026.”

“Of course, sir. Happy New Year, Mr. Musk.”

As the technician left, Elon smirked.

The next step to my Mars utopia is almost complete.
