Paranoia had gripped Haddonfield. They thought they had killed Michael Myers. They were right. However, The Shape dwelled within Michael. It was the evil that had infected Michael in 1963 and corrupted his soul. The Shape was Michael once again. It had manifested itself as its favorite form. That is 1978’s Michael Myers, the twenty-one-year-old. He crept inside Laurie’s house and grabbed the mask. As soon as he put it on, he felt whole again.
Corey had gotten a glimpse of The Shape’s power. It had been transferred into Corey for a bit, but only long enough to allow Michael Myers to find out where Laurie was. He grabbed the butcher knife and waited for that stubborn woman to return home. He did not see her as the older woman that he had been pursuing for the past four years. He saw that seventeen-year-old girl he had tried to extinguish back in 1978. Michael waited for Laurie to return home. It began to rain, but Michael waited by the front door. The rain beat against the house.
He slipped into the house next door. It was quiet except for the hum of the television. Sondra’s sister sat in the chair. She was watching her stories, some stupid soap opera. He crept in behind her and watched in eerie silence. Feeling eyes upon her, she looked behind her and found nothing. Sondra was sitting up in her bed. He stabbed her in the throat and watched as she bled out into the bed. He tilted s head as the brown bitch with the round body and the Dennis Rodman dye job gurgled; she was drowning in her own blood. Statue still The Shape watched as life drained from those stubborn eyes.
Now it was time to kill the mouthy cunt downstairs. She was the bitch that confronted Laurie at the supermarket. He grabbed the scissors from the medicine cabinet and set them up; they were open enough and facing upward. The sister came up to use the bathroom. She stared at the scissors. Michael came up behind her and pried her mouth open, before forcing her mouth down on the blade of the scissors. Her eyes roll in the back of her head as she convulses on the scissors. The blade is penetrating the roof of her mouth. He slips away.
Michael Myers returns the following Halloween. Laurie looked at her wallpaper as she chatted on phone.
“How do you like Russellville?” Laurie asked.
“Anything’s better than Haddonfield,” Allyson joked.
“I don’t blame you for thinking that kiddo,” Laurie chuckled. “Seeing anybody?”
“After my dating history, I think I’ll stay single for now,” Allyson said.
“Nothing wrong with prioritizing yourself first kiddo,” Laurie said.
“I hate to cut you off but I have to run,” Allyson said. “Bye.”
Laurie hung up and sat on the porch with a bowl of candy in her lap. She sat in hope even though she knew none of the neighborhood kids would want to visit the crazy cursed Laurie house for candy. She still bought treats and planned to wait on her porch to pass them out to trick-or-treaters. Soon a little girl dressed as a witch approached. She waved a wand and said,
“You’re a frog.” Laurie hopped around and pretended to be a frog. The little girl chuckled as The Shape watched and waited for his opportunity to strike. Laurie dropped some candy inside the little girl’s bag and waved as she bounded off down the street. Michael went around to the backdoor and snuck in and came to the window and looked out at Laurie. Feeling she was being watched, Laurie turned around and saw the Shape was gone.
