A local-area protocol is selected as president of the United States.

The local network sneered. He had just been elected amongst the other networks. He kept his mean mug as he dug the data. As president, he would make the promise to the other groups just how he would lead his people.

“I will provide a world of plenty for all the networks,” Ethernet said. “Though I may be local, I will make sure the Internet and Arpanet are satisfied and fortified through the generations.”

“I am ready to keep us in good condition and know what we’re doing in our world. The best way is to offer humans help anyway.”
