Good Friday 2025 The Cross- Our victory

From suffering to salvation, from death to eternal hope

''Good Friday - 2025''

Our eternal Redeemer, Jesus, died on the cross for you and me.

Not a loss, a ''victory.''

Not a darkness but ''light''

Not mischief but ''discovery. ''

Not a discouragement but''courage. ''

Not a fall but ''rising.''

Not a breakdown but ''a.builders. ''

Not destroy, but ''strengthen.''

Not an end but ''beginning.''

The Hyphens and the Priest of Calvary opened to a pilgrimage of hope with the destination of most of humanity. For the ''great love that was there. ''

''For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life''(John 3:16)

He invites us, those of us of the cross, to come together, that love, the ''journey of the cross, the pilgrimage of hope, with zeal to the goal of that pilgrimage, the heavenly Jerusalem. ''

For each of us, all of us, who walk that way of the cross, who walk that pilgrimage of hope, then that "message of the cross" is so important.

''To those who perish, the cross is foolishness. But for us who have begun to walk the way of liberation, it is the great dynamism of God. ''

(1 Corinthians 1:18)

This happens when we live the message of the cross and the path of the cross, the pilgrimage of hope. And so we can tell with St.Paul:

''I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me''(Galatans 2:20)

The one claiming not to need to live the life that is in me, rather, enable the life of Jesus in me.

As we read through them today, may we be zealous in meditating on the sufferings of Christ.

''For the sake of His sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.''
