Getting off the Hook

A yellow fin Tuna's Perspective.

By Beach MafiaPublished 3 years ago 2 min read

Deep beneath the waves of the ocean, in a world where fish swim and predators lurk, there was a yellowtail tuna fish named Frankie Fish. Frankie was a bright and colorful fish with a curious nature and an insatiable appetite, but his future was looking rather grim.

Frankie Fish's mission seemed impossible, but he was determined to find a way to save his fellow fish from ending up on a sushi platter.

You see, most yellowtail tuna who are caught by fishermen end up on a sushi plate, sliced up and eaten by a bunch of humans. But those who are lucky enough to be let off the hook often suffer from anxiety or even PTSD from the traumatic experience.

As Frankie swam through the ocean, bleeding from his hook wound and on the run from predatory fish, he realized that he needed to do something drastic to avoid the fate of his fellow yellowtail tuna.

He swam tirelessly, exploring every inch of the ocean and trying to come up with a plan. He talked to other fish, trying to convince them to join his cause.

As Frankie swam through the ocean, bleeding from his hook wound and on the run from predatory fish, he realized that he needed to do something drastic to avoid the fate of his fellow yellowtail tuna.

He swam to the edge of the reef, where he found a group of fish huddled together, talking in hushed tones.

"What's going on?" Frankie asked.

"We're planning a revolution," a small clownfish replied. "We're tired of being hunted and eaten by humans. We're going to fight back!"

Frankie was intrigued. He had never heard of fish taking on humans before. But he was willing to give it a shot.

Together, Frankie and the group of rebellious fish formed a plan. They would launch a surprise attack on a nearby fishing boat, using their numbers and their knowledge of the ocean to outsmart the humans.

It was a risky plan, but Frankie was determined. He led the charge, swimming straight towards the boat and causing a distraction while the other fish snuck aboard and wreaked havoc.

The fishermen were caught off guard, scrambling to save their equipment and escape the wrath of the fish. But Frankie and his comrades were relentless, biting and thrashing and doing everything in their power to defend their underwater home.

In the end, the fishermen retreated, shaken and humbled by the power of the ocean's creatures. Frankie and his fishy allies emerged victorious, basking in the glory of their triumph.

But as they swam back to their reef, Frankie couldn't help but wonder what would happen next. Would the humans come back, even more determined to catch and eat the fish? Or would they finally learn to respect the delicate balance of the ocean and its inhabitants?

Only time would tell. But for now, Frankie Fish and his rebellious comrades were free to swim the seas, knowing that they had taken a stand against the tyranny of human greed and Sushi.
