Randy “Macho Man” Savage

Are you a pickleball enthusiast who loves to show off your competitive spirit? Do you dream of being a champion on the court, just like the legendary wrestler Randy "Macho Man" Savage? Do you remember the late 1980’s when Macho Madness was running wild and his crazy interviews with Mean Jean Okerlund? What about those iconic fueds with George “The Animal” Steele, Tito Santana or the one and only Hulk Hogan? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this blog post is for you!

Are you tired of boring and dull pickleball games? Do you think Pickleball should be more like Prifessional Wrestling than tennis. Then it's time to unleash your inner Macho Man and add some fun, excitement, and a little bit of craziness to your pickleball game. In this blog post, we'll show you how to channel your inner Macho Man and play pickleball like never before. Get ready for the madness and snap into a Slim Jim.

Step 1: Choose a Macho Man Inspired Pickleball Outfit

To play pickleball like Macho Man, you have to look the part. Choose clothes that are bright and bold, just like the Macho Man's wrestling gear. Think neon colors, bold stripes, tight spandex shorts, and a bandana to complete the look. Don't forget the sunglasses, it's important to look cool on the court. Ohhhhh yea!!!! Just google Macho Man clothes and you will have the madness literally at your fingertips.

Step 2: Play Aggressively, Just like Macho Man

Macho Man was known for his aggressive style in wrestling, and you can adopt the same approach to your pickleball game. Focus on your footwork, speed, and agility, and when you see your opponent's weakness, attack! Take advantage of your opponent's weaknesses and show off your Macho Man style. Use power shots, jump smashes, and get in your opponent's face; that's how you show your pickleball prowess. Hit overheads like Macho Man would end his matches jumping off the top rope, with full intentionality to do it as hard as you can. Attack all the attachable balls but be aware of being to aggressive because greediness is rarely rewarded in a game that requires patience as much as it requires aggression.

Step 3: Shake Things Up with Macho Man Style Taunts

To channel Macho Man, you need to be a master of the trash talk. Don't be afraid to get in your opponent's head with some verbal taunts. Use the "Ohhh Yeah!" or "Snap into a Slim Jim!" catchphrases to taunt your opponent and throw them off their game. The Macho Madness may just intimidate or throw your unsuspecting opponents off. If it doesn’t work at first, be persistent, Macho man was!

Step 4: Celebrate Your Victory Like Macho Man Would

After a successful game, you need to celebrate your victory Macho Man style. With a theatrical exclamation of "Oh Yeah!" perform Macho Man's famous arm wave, and put on a display for the defeated opponent(s) to let them know who ruled the court. Show off your arms after a win.

In conclusion, there's no denying that Randy "Macho Man" Savage was a wrestling legend, but his style is not limited to just the ring. You can apply the Macho Man's personality and style to your pickleball game. So, put on your neon shorts, grab your paddle, and get ready to channel your inner wrestling superstar.

With a Macho Man inspired game, you'll not only impress your opponents, but you'll also have an awesome time on the court. Try it out for yourself, and tell us about your Macho Man pickleball experience. Don't forget the catchphrases!
