There is something wrong with that man
"This man, Alec, is not what he appears to be", shouted the man dressed in an outfit that could have only come from a charity shop trash can.
"This man will be the death of us all", he continued.
It was only my second day here. Though he looked and sounded crazy, he clearly could see that I didn't belong here.
I watched the passersby speed up and begin to look at their phones when they passed the man. I shuddered while sipping my coffee. The man stood only ten feet from me, outside the café's table section.
Clearly no one took the man seriously. How could they based on how he looked?
But still, he knew my name.
He had some strange insight into who I was, but what was this business about me "being the death of them all"?
After all, I was only here to study people of the past to learn where we went wrong.
