Beauty Tips

Blackheads Removal

You don’t need to visit a beauty parlor or use expensive products. You can easily remove blackheads from your nose at home.

Dip a big piece of cotton in egg white. Stick this cotton on your nose and let it dry completely until it becomes hard. Then gently peel it off. The blackheads will stick to the cotton and come out with it.

Acne Treatment

Getting rid of acne permanently is difficult. Usually, acne becomes less after the age of forty.

Women who have acne should make this paste:

1 teaspoon Multani mitti (Fuller’s earth)

½ teaspoon neem leaves paste

1 teaspoon rose water (or as required)

1 teaspoon mineral powder

½ teaspoon lemon juice

½ teaspoon turmeric

1 teaspoon aloe vera gel

Mix all ingredients and apply once a week. If your skin feels dry, apply a moisturizer that absorbs well. This same treatment costs thousands in beauty parlors.

Fair and Glowing Skin

No local or imported remedy can change your natural color instantly or after a few uses. But regular, balanced use can make your complexion fresh and glowing.

Mix the following powders and store in a bottle:

Almond powder

Pure turmeric

Lemon or orange peel powder

Pure gram flour (besan)

Papaya peel powder

Dried mint leaves powder

Dried neem leaves powder

Depending on the weather, mix this powder with honey, cream, goat milk, rose water, olive oil, or coconut oil. Massage your face gently for at least 20 minutes, 2–3 times a week, then wash with lukewarm water. All skin issues will disappear.

Once a month, mix this powder with egg white and use it as a mask for extra glow.

Cleansing

Mix yogurt and honey and massage your face for 10 minutes. It removes dryness, clears spots, opens clogged pores, tightens the skin, and brightens the complexion.

Mix oat flour, yogurt, green gram flour, and olive oil and apply as a mask twice a week. This is excellent for dry skin.

Make a paste by mixing:

cucumber paste, turmeric paste, aloe vera paste, champa flower paste, papaya paste, radish leaves paste, mint paste, melon pulp, apple pulp, banana pulp.

Mix this according to your skin type and season with:

lemon juice, rose water, egg white, Multani mitti, olive oil, coconut oil, almond oil, milk, or cream.

Apply twice a week for 10 minutes and wash with lukewarm water. Your face will glow within a month.

Massaging your face daily with fruit pulp—especially peach, strawberry, and apricot—also gives natural vitamins.

Freckles Treatment

Dry mango and jamun seeds, make a powder, and store it. Mix with water or rose water and apply to affected areas. Results will appear within a few days.

Rub ripe papaya slice daily on freckles; they will fade.

Boil a potato, mash it, mix a little salt, and apply for 10 minutes, then wash.

Grind white sesame seeds with milk, make a paste, and apply on freckles every alternate night. Results appear in 10–15 days.

Lemon juice applied daily also lightens freckles gradually.

Cucumber, carrot, and peach paste also help remove freckles.

Mix lemon juice with fine sugar and rub on freckles; it helps in fading them.

Take Vitamin C regularly to prevent freckles.

Open Pores

Mix strawberry pulp, honey, and wheat bran to form a paste. Apply on the whole face (avoid eyes) and wash after 5 minutes. It helps tighten open pores and reduces excess oil.

Apply Multani mitti once a week to close open pores.

Open pores usually appear on the nose, chin, and forehead.

Washing the face with gram flour (besan) also helps close pores.

Applying banana peel (the pulp inside the peel) daily also reduces open pores.
