Liv was a confident, beautiful, intelligent, and popular girl in the 8th grade. Once her teacher gave them a project they needed to present their thoughts on it next week.

Liv went home and started to make her poster project. It was “on how to stop global warming.”

She worked day and night and then started preparing the poster.

Sarah carefully drew a variety of figures on a large chart paper using vibrant colors to show the causes of global warming. Sarah emphasized on two points: the necessity of switching to renewable energy sources and the urgency of reducing carbon emissions. Her poster was sending a message of action and hope in the face of climate change.

Now it was time for presentation practice.

She first practiced in front of the mirror. Then before siblings, parents, and friends. She was getting more confident as the days went by. She was sure to nail the project.

The days went out fast and it was now the night before the presentation day. Her younger brother spilled water on her project accidentally.

Liv tried fixing it and did her best but was not satisfies. Her parents helped her and calmed her. She tried to sleep but tossed and turned all night due to being nervous and scared.

She fell asleep late and woke up very late. She grabbed her project and sprinted to the school. She thought this was the universe giving her a sign that she would mess up her project.

She came to class and sat on her seat. When it was her turn she hesitated to go up. Then she recalled her efforts and that put energy to her. She was not ready to give up.

She went up and set the stage on fire. She came down knowing she left no crumbs. She even won first place. She was super excited that her hard work paid off.

Conclusion

The lesson she learned was clear: despite setbacks and challenges, perseverance, determination, and belief in oneself can lead to success.
