Good morning. This is Walter Skilling with WIDK Eyes in the Sky Radio News, and I am live on the scene of a three-car pile-up on the Backwaters expressway. I wish you could see this. WIDK TV will cover the story when they arrive, but I am here now giving you a play by pay as the action happens. Just think, I was sent here to cover the icy conditions of the road, and this unfolded right in front of my face.

Air bags have been deployed in all 3 cars. I can’t really tell if anyone is seriously hurt. I do see movement in, OH MY GOD! The middle car just burst into flames. The smoke is filling the sky. Everything is so…

Wait! The door just opened. I see people emerging. The driver seems to be OK. The back door is open. A young lady got out but fell to the ground. Another passenger is coming out. I counted 5 people getting out of the car.

Good. They all got out and away from the car. The way it’s smoking it could…

Oh No! The car just exploded. The fire is spreading to the other 2 cars. Wow. At least 20 people have walked away from the blazing inferno.

Al last! The fire department has arrived. They should be able to get everything under control. We just have to wait and see.

OK, people. We have problems. Firemen can’t get close due to the raging heat and there are still passengers in the other car. The ladders are melting. What a gruesome sight.

Another car just exploded. A leg just landed right next to me. Another one over there. These people are losing body parts. What was that? I just got hit with a flaming arm. Oh god. Stop – Drop – Roll. That was close. It set my shirt on fire. I’m ok, now. I’m ok.

The cameras have still not arrived yet, people. You have to take my word for it. This is completely unbelievable. There is a baby crawling out of the wreckage. A baby. It appears to be unharmed and unfazed by what is going on around him. Where are the parents? Oh no! Can they still be inside the car.

Wait. Someone else is coming out of the blaze. Could this be the child’s mother? Is that even a woman. Wow! Her hair is on fire. Both her legs are gone. She only has one arm. Could those have been her legs and arm I saw fly out.

Amazing. This woman is determined to get to her child. She is pulling herself across the road with her one arm. I’ve never seen anything like this. I wish you could see this. Good. She made it. She reached the other child with her baby.

The 3rd car just exploded. I barely escaped with my life. The hood of the car almost took my head off. I’m going to need stitches. But I will not leave you, my listeners. I will bring you the news as it happens. I will not leave you until this story is put to bed.

A Helicopter. I think it has come to put out the fire. Yes! It’s dumping water on the flames. What? The water is evaporating before it gets to the ground. The chopper is having problems. Its propellers are melting in the heat. It’s going to crash.

People. The chopper just crashed right into the wreck adding to the problem. Wait, more people are coming out. The pilot is saving them. They are all safe. This is simply amazing, folks. Simply amazing. I’m sure that’s everybody now. They can only watch in horror as their possessions burn. But they are alive.

It’s lifting up flames. Wow! It just threw the flames into space and cleaned up the wreckage. No! It’s leaving. No! Come back.

Hey! There is a little green man where the wreckage was. He said that he just wanted to return the favor to a farmer that kept him safe near Area 51. I knew it was real. Look. The baby is crawling toward the green man. He’s pointing some device at the baby. The baby is glowing. Now he just floated into his mother’s arms. Happily, she walks away with her child. The crowd is dispersing now. The little green man is gone. There is nothing left for me to report. So..
