Ep 3 - Phoenix and albatross - a tale of two wings

Jan and Sanam's eyes met in a moment of pure enchantment. They were both captivated by the other's gaze, and it seemed as if time had stopped. But just as they were about to dive deeper into each other's eyes, a voice over the microphone shattered the spell. The award ceremony was underway, and the audience was focused on the speaker, dressed in a tuxedo, who was addressing the room about the art in the gallery.

While Sanam's friends were entranced by the speaker, Jan and Sanam were still close to each other, yet separated by the crowd. Their eyes were drawn to each other, but they were too shy to let the other know. Sanam, trying to sneak a peek at Jan, turned her neck slightly to the left, only to find that she couldn't see his face fully as she was afraid, she'd get caught. Her thoughts were consumed with Jan, as she wondered, "Who is this handsome stranger?" and "What could he possibly want to talk to me about?" She was eager for the talk to end so they could continue their conversation.

But things took an unexpected turn. The speaker was about to announce the award for the finest art piece, and to everyone's surprise, the painting that Sanam had made fun of was the recipient. The speaker revealed that the painter's name was Jan Bennit and asked him to come to the stage to receive the award.

The award, "The Golden Brush", was the most prestigious art award in the world. Sanam clapped along with everyone else, but suddenly felt like Jan was moving. She fixed her gaze on him and watched in shock as he walked straight up to the stage to receive the award. Her clapping slowed down and her face became confused as she remembered her previous comments about his painting. She didn't know what to do.

But Jan, after receiving the award, caught a glimpse of Sanam in the audience and threw her a charming smile. Sanam was stunned by his smile and found herself lost in a gaze for a moment.
