Do Boys Like Confident Girls?

Exploring why some people like confident girls and the tough parts of being bold

By Ameer BibiPublished 2 years ago 2 min read

Some people praise brave girls, while others say they’re rude. But why is this the case? Is society still resistant to accepting intelligent and confident women?

Being fearless and confident means being ready to face challenges and grab opportunities that arise. It takes many forms in life, including relationships, the workplace, creativity, and self-expression. Choosing boldness is having the guts to go beyond the box and into scary or unfamiliar areas.

Various girls are there; some are bold by nature, while others grow bold over time. What drives young girls to be more daring? From my experience, I know I used to be shy and cautious. But once I entered the world of college, I realized I had to take on a more determined attitude.

Overcoming hurdles has made it clear how important confidence is, especially for women. Some young women become brave and confident when they enter the workforce. I’ve seen the transformation of females who aren’t naturally brave but are forced to face difficult situations and come out stronger than ever.

I was the girl who couldn’t cross the road, but I decided to back the hands that came towards me with the intention of harassment. Once, I saw a man in an open market as he was trying to touch women disgustingly and showing himself like he was blind.

He was trying to harass the women in innocence; I decided to stand up with confidence, and I picked a shoe from the open stall and beat him a lot until his eyesight came back.

I will share another interesting: I saw a guy who liked a bold girl at a wedding because she talked and laughed confidently. But here’s the twist — he didn’t like that trait anymore when they married. Isn’t that unfair to the girl?

Having a fearless mindset has its share of challenges. Confident women may have difficulties due to their reputation for being blunt, rude, or arrogant. These types of confusion may turn into serious conflicts.

Though admirable, women who choose the route of courage often face obstacles that men don’t face.
